I am sorry to report that Malvern Arkansas swap shop on the KBOK station is an extreme waste of time. The professionalism is nil and sadly lacking in guideline usage. For the most part, caller's items are not repeated for the listener's benefit, the hosts are WAY too chatty, items from the mailbag are not given the same importance as the callers, the sponser's were only given a minimal amount of airspace, AND the host asked questions and commented on the quality of items being sold. This sounded like the run of the mill mom & pop show and I would suggest the swap shop radio program in Camden be used as an example of how it should be run.
