After having two trees down along with my aunt and mother having two down each, I decided to buy a splitter. After seaching prices I decided on suthderlands.I was told by 2 young female workers that the price on the splitter i was looking at was 1348 I then came home and looked up the splitter on the internet and to my surprise the com had been around since 1947 ( swisher ) . Well that was a good deal I thought But u know the old saying if it sounds to good to be true Well I went back the next day and ask the price on the splitter again by the way it was a 2800 ton. This time I was told it was $1548 wow $200 in one day Well tell u the truth it sounded more like it and didnt really augue the fact to much but he did go in to make sure that that was the right price. He also told me that on Sundays that card holders get 10% off. So I Decided to go back Sunday with my mother which has a card. Well to my suprise the splitter was now $1648. My mother said get the dam thing and lets go u know how mothers can be. But noway was I going to pay another $100 extra I told the girl behind the counter the prices i had been giving through out this crest of mine well the computer said 1648 so if I wanted a splitter that was the price! At this time all Icould think of was I really didnt want to have to split all them there trees by hand. I asked my mother to watch my son while I went on a all out search 4 the man that told me $1548 and to my suprise he was there. I took him back up front with me and ask him in front of the girl how much did he tell me the splitter was he told her $1548. Just wanted to let her know that I wasnt BSing her. Computer still says 1648! Well needless to say he went and talked to the manager and I got it for 1548 with 10% 0ff with 5 gallons of hydrlic fuild came to 1580. I love my splitter it works great it just goes to show that sutherlands will work with u even if they have to take a lost . I told my uncle about this and he told me buy from the girls.\r
