The staff is EXCELLENT. The sushi is fresh and the mizo soup is the most flavorful anywhere in the world. Pros: Best sushi rolls in Dallas. Period. Cons: NONE.

Worst

I drove for over an hoping to enjoy good sushi. Instead, I had to wait for an hour and 20 minutes to be exact for my teryaki salmon to come out. The food was cold, 15 minutes late...

This place has a really nice, cozy atmosphere with intimate patio seating. Oh yeah...the food isn't too bad either. The miso soup is nice and perfectly comforting on a cold day. The rolls are pretty good, but a bit over-priced and selection seems to be a bit lacking. Over all this place definitely deserves a second chance as the staff are totally welcoming and accomadating. more

The worst sushi place ever 10/29/2010

I drove for over an hoping to enjoy good sushi. Instead, I had to wait for an hour and 20 minutes to be exact for my teryaki salmon to come out. The food was cold, 15 minutes later the waiter brings my veggies because he forgot it. I ate two bites then I get to third to find my fish not cooked and tasteless. It takes them 45 more minutes to recook the fish. It was an awful awful experience that I wish to never repeat. Also, it was over priced, I paid $22 for 6oz salmon and steamed rice. I am never going back. Hated it. more

We eat at Sushi Star all the time! The service is great and the sushi is even better! We call ahead and the order is always perfect, to a tee! Pros: Fresh sushi, great to go service and call aheads more
