Sur La Plage

All the times I have been in there have been absolutely amazing. I don't need constant customer service to understand what Juicy Couture and Free People are. With all the traffic in and out of there all summer, it must be hard work for the employees but they do it with a smile and are glad to help any one who needs it. Sur La Plage has been around for decades, being possibly the most successful woman's boutique on the NJ shore coast. The owner's have done a miraculous job of keeping the plage looking more and more beautiful each year. And as always, the visual merchandising is a class of its own; so unique and appealing. Every and any brand that could go together in a fixture will do so in this store. THIS STORE WILL LIVE FOREVER more

My daughter and I stopped by on Wednesday, July 8 2009 in the late afternoon, and when we walked in the door there were 3 young women, standing on the stairs. No one greeted us or asked if they could help us. At least one was enjoying a drink. They all had a blank look on their faces, and we almost felt like we were interrupting them. This was our first time visiting the store, and we were looking forward to doing some shopping. We took a look around, and left. We probably would have made quite a few purchases, as she does like a lot of the brands they carry, but we refused to spend any of our money in a store where we did not feel like valued customers. Shame on them for having such an unqualified staff. We won't be back. We have Brave New World in Point Pleasant Beach that carries alot of the same items, and that store is much more pleasant to shop in. more

I have been coming to Beach Haven for the past 9 summers, and I must say Sur La Plage is the best clothing store around. I can buy my swimwear, ready to wear and shoes all under one roof! Theyre selection is wonderful! I'm a girly girl, so juicy is up my alley but my sister is a tom-boy, therefore the Roxy and Billabong is just for her! They have so many designers a girl could stay in there all day!! They carry brands like 7 for all mankind, citizens of humanity, juicy couture, sweetees, lilly pulitzer and of course, Milly and Tibi. Theyre collection of Milly is absolutely gorgeous!!! Many other clothing stores have tried to dominate beach haven, such as Tula Run for Cover and B&B. Sur la Plage has the biggest selection of everybrand, and its easy to see all of one designer in one area. As prices go, yes they are expensive, but for the quality you are getting, who wouldnt pay!? I have had the same juicy couture hoodie for 3 years and it looks just as i bought it. if you are not willing to pay the designer prices, go for lucy love! cute and affordable. returns are store credit only, although you do get a cute pink and white credit card! whoever buys for sur la plage has awesome creativity and puts the store together beautifully.i cant say how much i enjoy shopping here! dont waste your time anywhere else. Pros: great selection; awesome brands, cool music. Cons: staff could be a little bit more helpful, other than that its amazing. more
