Overall - it's good stuff! The mac burger is even better than what we expected.\r The best thing i had there was the mac nuggets. I think those are one of the best things i have tried in all of NYC.\r Seating is very tough depending on what time you go. I got lucky around 12:50 p.m. with a table for two. more

if you live or have even visited NYC and don't know about this place, HOW CAN U NOT??? Supermac is the best place to get mac and cheese by far. It is the tastiest, fastest food you will ever eat. just go here, and dont be fooled by the fact that its a closet, just eat the food and you will be addicted!! more

Are you guys joking? I don't know what you have been eating, but this stuff is a POOR representation of Mac and Cheese... It was borderline horrible! Seriously... I was really amped to go here... I turned the corner and went into the place, and... first of all it was dead, NO ONE was there... uhmm ok, i must have picked a slow time to come, 8pm on a Saturday?!?!, Anyway.. Once the dude behind the counter pulled the phone away from his ear he took my order... I got the Lobster and Mac and Cheese, SOUNDS AMAZING RIGHT!!? I asked if there was a bathroom, no bathroom, hmmm Ok??? I guess i'll just wait here at one of these white clothed table, which were dirty.. HOW DOES A PLACE THAT IS TOTALLY EMPTY HAVE A DIRTY TABLE?!!?? Ok after waiting for longer then i expected, i got my food, and WOW.. LISTEN, this place is all hype, that mac and cheese was horrible! and the lobster still had pieces of its shell on it... WTF?!?!?!? No joke, i was picking pieces of lobster shells out of t my teeth..... Ok bottom line, you get the idea... I liked the place a lot! We had mac and cheese nuggets and mac and cheese primavera. The guy at the counter was exceptionally nice, and the food was great. True, there is no bathroom.. but it's a cute place and I am definitely going back. Note: The guy at the counter was singing along with ""nothing compares 2U"" by sinead o'connor - he just about nailed it - but he said he can do whitney h the best. I love love love this place. Yes, I'm a tourist, and I'm biased because I'm a MAC freak, but YUM. I had the Mac Burger, with bacon, and DAMN that was tasty! I'll be returning while I'm still here, and getting the Mac and Cheese Nuggets to take home! I came to Supermac during its first week and ever since then have been soooo addicted. I have had other mac and cheese in different restaurants but nothing tops them. Food was excellent. One eyed Mac Burger - EXCELLENT! The bacon was a tad rubbery (i am a bacon freak) , but the gorgonzola that came with it made up for - EXCELLENT. Mac Nuggets - Again EXCELLENT, but expensive for only 6 pieces. The Lobster, French onion, and Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese were simply to DIE FOR. \r I have been to Supermac four times, and each time I have had a very positive experience. We recently had lunch there on our last trip to NY and it was excellent as usual, but the service was great also. Our server was prompt, polite, and attentive. His shift changed and the girl that took over was also excellent. Everyone in supermac was friendly to us, and we loved their mac and cheese nuggets. It's an inexpensive meal that tastes great! more

My friend and I, having had our share of beer for the evening, decided that nothing would be better than a nice bowl of macaroni and cheese. And with a name like, ""Supermac,"" how could you go wrong? It should be emphasized, that this is a TAKE OUT place, and not an actual restaurant. I really, really had to use the restroom, but they didn't have one. The cashier directed me to a pizza place around the corner, and for the sake of decency, I won't go into details, but it wasn't pretty. When I got back, our ""supermac"" was ready and waiting - they are expedient, I'll give them that. We sat on neon-lit benches and ate what was the worst macaroni and cheese I've ever tasted (and I do consider myself a bit of a connoiseur). I ordered the quattro formaggio - basically mozzarella with a whole lot of sprinkled cheeses...it tasted like eating powdered parmesan with a spoon. My friend ordered the lobster thermidor, which tasted and smelled like past-it's-prime fish - it was incredibly unappetizing. The only thing that saved the experience was the little take-away package of Rice-to-Riches rice pudding I bought - THAT was wonderful! Next time, I'm going there and skipping the supermac. I tried this place a few days ago and was very impressed. This little mac and cheez cafe in chelsea had a line out the door and i thought wow must be a pretty hot spot. So i gave them a try eventhough it looked like a wait....within seconds they promptly took my order and i was outta there within 3mins IMPRESSIVE! Compared to other lunch spots in that area. I had the wild mushroom and ate it entirely it was excellent So if ur in the area give them a shot they even gave me a rewards card in which my 10th mac n cheeze is on them for free .......Awsome Concept way to GO Guys. I work in the neighborhood and ordered Supermac for lunch. They said to be downstairs in exactly 25min. (Aren't they supposed to call..?) When it finally arrived 1:15 later, it was not even luke warm and completely dried up. To top it off, they OVERCHARGED me for each item. Never received any food, after waiting over 1.5 hours for delivery. Called once after an hour--said food was on its way. Called second time after 1.5 hrs--said the order was just getting started and that it would take another hour. Excuses, excuses = STILL NO FOOD. The first time I ordered from SuperMac it was great, on time. But now I have tried this place two more times and they are extremely late!!! The second time the manager lied to me about it leaving on time. The third and last time I will ever give my business to this place! They are VERY LATE! 45 mins to an hour each time and it seems that they always have lame excuses. If you want late food that is overpriced then try it out! Pros: Different mac and cheese.
