The atmosphere was casual and they offered casual food, ie burgers and beer, but also on the menu were delectable chicken pasta dishes and even filet mignon! I was very much taken by surprise at the versatility of the menu at Sunset Grille. I got the Chicken Pesto and very much enjoyed it, even though I had never tried Pesto before. Their salads and rolls were delicious as well. Service was some of the best in town as someone is always at the ready to remove your plate when you are finished, but you aren't badgered beforehand to see if you are done. The torches out front are beautiful, and the front porch so nice I wouldn't have minded waiting an hour for dinner, but we were seated in less than twenty minutes on a Friday night. Apparently beware of the Florentine, however, as my boyfriend said it was so rich he could barely eat it. I guess Sunset Grille can actually make food too good.
