Used to love this place, but it's under new management. Went for Sunday breakfast, ordered something simple, waited 45 minutes, then it was the wrong thing. Saw same thing happen to several other patrons. Was told there's a new cook. (?) When we complained, staff didn't seem to care. Don't expect this to last long. Very disappointed. Where's John? and all the other wonderful people who used to be there? Cons: slow, terrible service more

I also have found this to be one of the least friendly restraunts I've ever been to. And, it's sad, because it's in a neighborhood with lots of friendly people so it could be a really happening place. The people running the place seem downright surly to me. I feel as if I've interrupted them from something very important. I have to say that the food is actually really good but I can barely drag myself there because I don't want to be treated badly. I don't know how those people could find that place great. They probably work there. The place is ALWAYS empty. I know that because I live a few blocks away and I always pass in front of it. It's a tiny restaurant with small tables. I went there after read those reviews. They had only 5 customers. The waitress/hostess or whatever that girl was simply turned her back to me when I came in and the guy behind the counter turn away and went inside the kitchen, i think. Nobody greeted me, nobody seated me, nothing. Me and my boyfriend sat and waited. We could perfectly hear everything the people on the table on the ANOTHER side of the restaurant was saying. Not less than a minute later, we were out of there. Poor place, horrible decoration, horrible service. No wonder nobody goes there. more

I've been going there for years. The staff is terrific, the food is excellent, and the price is right. Lots of salads, yummy soups, great omelets. (People, please don't let your children scream in restaurants. The rest of us would like to enjoy a nice meal!) more

Absolutely wonderful food in a very cozy and casual setting. All of the dishes are under $10, but fantastically prepared and a great value. Friendly service, and to top it all off, a world class selection of desserts. I've been to strictly dessert restaurants that don't have such classy fare.
