I stayed at this hotel for two nights and was very pleased with my experience. This hotel is being renovated so some rooms may still be a work in progress. My room was exceptionally large with new furnishings and a very comfortable King bed. The reception and breakfast areas are new, very clean and as nice as you will find in any motel. The breakfast is more than adequate. Having checked the prices and appearance of other hotels in Alpine I would say this is probably the best value in town. more

we had to go and enroll my son in sul ross and we stayed at the Sunday House Inn in Alpine Texas the beds where so nice the front desk person was very nice and helpfull i hope she is still there when we return in August at first i read some of the reviews and was iffy of staying there but they have done some remolding and are still doing more it a very nice place more

I loved staying here, i don't know why the last two ppl are saying this is a bad place, maybe they're not talking about the Sunday House Inn. I came with two other friends, and we had a blast, and we were satisfied with the room. Front desk was very helpful and really nice. The breakfast was enjoyable. My friends and I were looking foward for a weekend of just relaxing and this motel was just right. I would definetely stay there again! more

Whenever they finish remodeling the Sunday House, it'll be a nice place. Right now it's economically priced and conveniently located. The checkout time of 11:00 should be changed to noon. more

A Warm and Joyfull experience for 65 Senior Adult YAH Choir 5/20/2011

Judy Schorr did a wonderul and caring job for the Young Aty Hearf Gospel Choir. We have stayed at the Sunday House twice now and will indeed stay with then again when we return to TX for a tour. Judy went over and beyond to help provide what I needed for these older people. Also connected me with the Sunday House & Inn in Kerriville, TX where we also stayed for one night more

I travel to Fredericksburg for business often and always stay at Sunday House. The location couldn't be better, a very friendly and knowledgeable staff, helps with finding my way around town. Always meets my needs, sometimes I come with my wife and pets and they accomodate me with just the right room. They are like family now. They've remodeled in the past few years but still kept the old world look (and a clean look too!) Highly recommended! more

The staff went out of their way to accomodate us and make us 5/16/2011

To celebrate my 50th birthday I asked 11 girlfriends to join me for a celebration in Fredericksburg. Judy, the sales director, was very acccommodating giving us three rooms together. The rooms were clean and spacious. They set out small vases of flowers in each of the rooms. Additionally, they put up a birthday banner in my room and had a cake waiting for me in the refridgerator. The staff at Sunday House Inn and Suites made my 50th very special. more

Prices are great for this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were accommidating for our very large family that book several rooms for a weekend Christmas party more

This hotel has the best location. You can park your vehicle and walk to all the shops. Very clean. Staff friendly. Good value for the price. more

service was great! judy was very helpfull and informative . the rooms were nice and very clean . the pool grounds were very well maintained . location was walking distance to shopping on main street . we will be staying their again . we would recommend suday house inn and suites to anyone. more

Above and beyond 4/29/2011

From the inital contract talks (Judy) to the attentive desk clerk (Betty) and the helpful maintenance/maid service, the personnel performed above and beyond expectation; offering excellent group rates and providing meeting room with all the amenities that was just right for our group (not to mention the unexpected goodies in the frig). Little things like personalized welcomes in each room with flower and candy and info pac was an example of true southern hospitality. Recommend without reservation. more

Best value, Great pool, Warm reception! 4/28/2011

Our group stayed at the Sunday House during the ROT Rally. We had over eight bikes , four cars and 18 people. The staff was warm and helpful. The beds were great and rooms clean. After riding all day; the pool was GREAT! Had one morning of rainy weather and having the hotel within walking distance of the shops of Fredericksburg was a plus. It is always difficult for a group of our size to find accomadations when touring the Hill country. Sunday House had reserved a Hospitality Suite so our group could spend the evenings together , which included a welcome package. That was terribly thoughtful and greatly appreciated . We will DEFINITELY return and recommend this hotel to our friends and family! more
