It is my pleasure to provide this testimonial for Dr. Duong! I came to Dr. Duong because she is well known for her meticulous care and hands on approach with all patients, especially those of us requiring orthognathic (jaw) surgery. My case took three years and required careful planning from beginning to end. Dr. Duong worked alongside my oral surgeons and what a dynamic team they made! I could not have been in better hands. Working closely with my surgeons, a treatment plan was formulated in the first year and there was constant communication between the offices up until my surgery date. During my bi-weekly visits, Dr. Duong prepped me with each step for the surgery to come. My surgeons, having worked with many orthodontists in the area (and out of the area), were highly impressed with Dr. Duong’s attention to detail and the extra care she took to make the surgery smoother for me (and of course, for them). As a matter of practice, Dr. Duong would be there in the operating room to support her patients. Sadly for me, Dr. Duong was not affiliated with the hospital where I had my surgery and she was not able to be in attendance. However, between Dr. Duong’s methodical orthodontic work and the surgeon’s skillful hands, my surgery went off without a hitch! It was also very nice to see a familiar face out of post-op . Yes! She even came to visit me in the hospital! I am so pleased with my result and can’t thank Dr. Duong enough for the beautiful smile I have now. Her confidence and support really gave me the strength to endure the braces and surgery. I am grateful for her care and wonderful work. I couldn't have asked for a better orthodontist! Dr. Duong has a genuine concern for her patients and is attentive to detail. I always get numerous compliments on how great my smile looks. Along with that compliment is advice on how I ought to thank my parents for the great investment they made. Dr. Duong not only cares about my teeth, but cares about you as a person too. She has sponsored me in pageants, including Miss Rancho Bernardo Teen and Miss Philippines of San Diego. She also attended my birthday celebrations. Dr. Duong put my braces on when I was 13 and took them off when I was 14; I am now 22-years-old and still keep in touch with her.
