We can always depend on Suburban Welding and Steel. Their work is outstanding and always finished when promised. They are a pleasure to work with. Suburban Welding has been my welder/fabricator and steel supplier for almost a decade now. I can tell you first hand that their quality is second to none. I have never had any problems with them they didn't go out of their way to correct. They make me feel important no matter how small the job. The boss can be a little slow in the quoting departmant, but if you ask nicely, he'll get it done in hours. They have worked Saturdays for me on many occasions, and yes, as with any shop, they have to pay their welders overtime, so I do too. They take on the jobs that no one else will even consider to help me out (for example, welding castings). I hope our working relationship is this strong for the another decade. Our kitchen chair arms had broken welds and Suburban Welding fixed them. Delivery was as quoted when I dropped off the work to be done. The welds have held for over 12 months now. Today I?m going back with the other two original chair arms for a reliable fix. Suburban Welding is Highly recommended. Pros: Friendly place, parking in front, great service. Cons: none. more

I called 3 hours before I came in and they said they could do the work today. I came there at 3pm, upon waiting 30 minutes to speak with someone they saw my trailer, stated "oh you will have to leave it here tonight the welders leave at 330pm" He then started to argue with me that its my fault he didn't tell me they close in 3 hours on the phone and I should have to pay the overtime as well! This is just a terrible company, with all the help wanted signs I wouldn't want to work there either. more

Poor communication, crappy attitudes, I felt like I walked into a company that just foreclosed! Upon calling around 12pm, I asked if they could do the work and they said yes it can be done today. I arrive at at 3pm, upon waiting 30 minutes to speak with someone I was told they close at 330pm and that I have to would have to leave my trailer and it will be done tomorrow. I asked why didn't you tell me that you close at 330 on the phone? The guy sat and argued very immaturely, telling me its my fault he didn't tell me they closed in 3 hours when I called! He told me because of HIS mistake that I would have to pay overtime. I see why they had help wanted signs all over, I wouldn't want to work there either!!! They are going to have a hard road if they treat everyone like they treated me. Save your time, find somewhere more reliable than this place. Pros: The welder that came out was the only who seemed like he wanted to work! Cons: I have never seen worse treatment in this industry. more
