Subia's Organic Market

I LUV this place!!!! Thank Goodness for Subia....I don't know what I would do if they weren t there. When I walk in the cafe I feel healthy just by being there. The owners have these amazing way to make you feel home...protected and taken care of. I know anything I touch there it is good for me and my family. Thanks to them I was able to turn my kids into healthy eaters.Any stomachache, flu....bad cold or just a moment of feeling down Subia has the right fix. It is like having your mother around you all the times. I am not joking. Their food is as good as their suggestions. I recommend to try also their delicious muffins...they make them everyday....my kids love them and you know there is not one ingredient bad for you. I know that from next month they are going to start delivering which is CRAZY!!! so excited!!! Ps: ask them about REISHI coffee....their newest big thing. My girlfriend is a vegan and eats super healthy. I'm a healthy eater but by no means a vegetarian or vegan.. love my chicken. Anyways, she's probably not going to be my girlfriend by the time you read this, but Subia's will still always be a go-to food spot for me. It's probably the best tasting vegan food I've ever had. And yes, it is expensive. But we already know that about organic ingredients. Real food costs more. Rarely do I find a place where I am confident that my food is even real.. then when it is real, does it even taste good? Subia's Buffalo ""Chicken"" Sticks (vegan) are delicious. I've had the sandwich, I've had the salad, yes to all. The soups are delicious, juices are a nice morning jumpstart. The vibe is so chill. They have a nice selection of teas there too. I tried this Chocolate Tiesta Tea and it's the best loose leaf I've had. The family that runs this spot are nice, trustworthy, and knowledgeable about anything health/food-related. I rarely write reviews but I'm going to start. Try this. more

After reading the 2 reviews on here and deciding to make some changes in my diet I gave Subias a try. I was not dissappointed! The Selection is what can be expected of a small business but still rather good. Compared with places like Whole foods and some of the organic items sold at Shop Rite and Stop n Shop It was sort of high. The Customer Service makes up for it though. The food was to die for as well! I never thought I would make these two statements but......1)Tofu actually taste good(I guess its how you cook it) and 2) I will never go back to drinking regular milk! ever! So yea Subias is Great* Pros: Great Customer Service, Food, and Enviornment Cons: Little bit of a wait and a lil pricey more

My partner and I discovered this little gem when we were in Jersey City on business. We each had the vegan ""meatball"" sub - yummy!!!! Then we went shopping. Great selection of organic, vegetarian and vegan foods, supplements, teas, etc. We stocked up!!! The entire time we were there, we were having a great conversation with the lady waiting on us as well as a patron. Delightful, interesting people. The overall experience was pleasant, enjoyable, and satisfying. If we lived in Jersey City, we would definitely be regulars and wish that a place like Subia's existed where we live. Highest recommendation. Pros: There is no other organic store in the area. Quaint and clean. Great customer service. Cons: Street parking only, but this is to be expected. more

I love everything about Subia - the food, the people, the atmosphere. I walk there every Saturday and Sunday to enjoy a nice brunch and do some shopping. Products they sell are all hand-selected for quality and the food they prepare is so tasty. Try the vegan BLT from the breakfast menu and the pomegranate/blueberry smoothie (#2). The combination is to die for! Pros: food, value, organic ingredients, many vegan choices Cons: occasional wait more
