If you can stand the mess you can find the fabric 2/28/2011

Myra has hired a German lady who really does try to help you find find fabric. The only problem is finding the fabric. You can be sure to find a discontinued fabric, but you'll have to go through three layers of bolts to get to it.\r \r Due to the stacks and stacks and stacks of bolts, prices don't change from the original marking, so if you dig far enough you can find fabric under $8 per yard. more

stitchers garden 11/10/2005

The Stitchers Garden is a great little shop where they have more types of fabric than you can even imagine would be in there. Just by walking in there, you get so many ideas of things to sew. Though the store is a bit messy and unorganized, you can still manage to find lots of goodies in there. more

great store!!! 11/2/2005

A fairly large store, but very cluttered. There are hundreds of bolts of fabric throughout the store, and shelves upon shelves of books, patterns, and notions. The organization is haphazard, finding a particular item may prove difficult. There is a very large selection of items, it's really an artist's dream but you could spend all day long just trying to find something. Great for hard to find items but be prepared to spend the better part of the day attempting to locate things. There are so many reams of fabric in this store, they are stacked to the ceiling and falling over. Even though this place is a bit cluttered, the selection is unbelievable. They even sell cute vintage fabrics that you can't find anywhere else--they are perfect for making quilts with. You can also get sewing notions and idea books here. The staff is great. more

Fabric Store 7/23/2005

Oh my! So much fabric to choose from and so little time to sew. I have actually had reams of fabric fall on me in this place because they have so much selection and they are practically stacked to the ceiling with reams. Although the place is a little cluttered it is worth the drive and trouble to go here. They have very cute vintage fabrics too. more
