  • If you are looking for a veterinarian with the ability to hear what your pet is saying about its medical condition, the skills to use cutting-edge diagnostic techniques, and the time to communicate with you about your pet's needs, you've found the right place. We are a full-service animal clinic, including grooming and boarding, located in Cumming, GA, just north of Atlanta off of GA-400, one mile west of exit 13 next to Northside Urgent Care. Dr. Tonya Amiri is our primary veterinarian. Our full-service clinic for cats and dogs includes immunization and wellness care, surgery, dental care, hospital services, behavioral consultation, grooming, and boarding. Our hospital offers nutritional products, pharmaceuticals, an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray and ultrasound diagnostics, and a state-of-the-art surgical suite. At the Steeplechase Veterinary Hospital, our goal is the compassionate treatment of your pet's medical needs whether it involves preventive medicine for continued good health, treatment of an illness or injury, or addressing chronic or geriatric issues. We utilize digital x-ray and color-flow doppler ultrasound as non-invasive methods to assist in diagnoses. Digital x-ray allows for instant results, fewer retakes, and less overall radiation exposure for your pet. Our in-house laboratory allows for us to get faster results, when needed. This can lead to a more prompt diagnosis, more immediate treatment, and a faster recovery for your pet. And should your pet need a procedure or surgery, we perform pre-anesthetic blood work right on the premises. This, along with careful monitoring by our registered technicians, allows your pet to have a smooth procedure and recovery. Preventative care: We routinely use USDA-approved three-year vaccines for our canine and feline patients. This not only relieves the stress on their system, but actually allows their bodies to mount a better immune response. We also recommend routine screenings for your pet throughout their life, and more so as they age. Early detection of some diseases can lead to better treatment options and preventive measures. Compassionate care: our focus on pain management allows for faster healing through a decrease in inflammation, and less physiological, as well as psychological, stress on your pet to help keep them happy and healthy during their healing.
