NOT AN UPSCALE STEACKHOUSE 4/23/2010

I read the previous reviews and thouoght this might be a good place to have some good steack while at Vegas, specially since it was in our own casino.\r \r I am not sure what expectations people who wrote this reviews had, but mine were definately crashed. \r \r Our server treated us, as if we were a couple of teenagers. When we said we do no drink, the menu was basically thrown out of my hand along with a loud sign, and a sarcastic look at other patrons. As if I was suppose to have felt ashamed. \r Our Ceaser Salad was okay - not much you can do to complitely mess it up. Although they were out of anchovies. Our bread basket never refiled. \r I ordered a file mangon which was the first recomendation, it was cooked well, instead of medium, almost charcoed around - what a dissapointment. My boyfriend's steack came cold and undercooked. We waited for 15 minutes for waiter to come back so the steack can be done, he took both plates away, when he brough them back mine was basically a peace of overcooked charcoe, blackened eveywhere ( good restaurant would never reheat such meal, just give you a new steack). Our sides which were oily ( mashrooms and onions) and backed potatoe( discusting and dry) were at this point cold.\r We were not offered coffe or desert. Just thrown a check.\r Not that we wouold have gotten it.\r If you are used to Ruth Chris and Mortons Steackhouse - stay away this is not a place for you. If you want to spend money wisely stick to what you know. We have paid $150 for Outback meal at its worst.\r Also if you are younger couple or group- stay a way , you will be treated like you are wearing your parents clothe. Cons: BAD FOOD< BAD SERVICE< BAD ATMOSPRHERE< EXPENSIVE more

Wonderful food and service 9/18/2008

The service at this restaurant rivals any the staff was attentive not intrusive and even accomadated my father in law who want A-1 steak sauce no matter how good the steak, they didn't have it but they certainly found it for him! I had the Steak au Fromage and I have to say that it was the best tasting steak I have ever had, the combination of the tangy blue cheese with the steak was excellent. the sides are definitely enough to split between 2 so remember that when looking at prices. My daughhter got the Crab legs and wow they looked delicious and huge!! the seafood plates that my mother inlaw and sister in law lookd wonderful too and my husnband said the oysters were very fresh. would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner. Pros: excellent service excellent food large portions and very nice atmosphere Cons: sides are separate from main items may throw some people off but if you are used to Ruths Chris or Top of the World this will be similar and quality and quantity of food are excellent for price more

Excellent Romantic Dining 9/10/2008

My wife and I visit Vegas often (4-6 times per year), and we go to Camelot Steakhouse about every other time to eat, In particular, we order the Chateaubriand for two. The food is always excellent, and as is the service. We are sorry to see that Sir Galahads has closed, but we are pleased to see the relocation of employees to Camelot Steakhouse and Regale. The service at Camelot has always been exceptional, and the general manager coming around to each table to enquire about each meal gives that added touch of caring. Thank you Excalibur and Camelot for great experiences. Pros: Great food and Service more

AWESOME !!! 7/18/2007

We can not express how much we love this restaurant. The service and staff are impeccable, and the food is exquisite. We drive all the way from Long Beach, CA just to have dinner here. The double Lobster tails are outstanding, but I recently tried the Kobe Rib Eye. It was out of this world! Also, you must ask for the Bananas Foster for dessert. Perfect ending to a perfect meal. more

The Steak House at the Excalibur serves great food with excellent service. The staff is great and the service is equal to the quality of the food. This is a special place for any celebration you have while in Vegas. The Steak House is a great place for large parties and we find the music to add to the atmosphere here.
