Starbucks

Come on, Car Man! Don't be so hard on Starbucks. They have a lot of GOOD stuff at Starbucks!!!! I love their carmel Frappacinno. I have to go into Kroger or Albertsons to be able to purchase one but they are worth the drive, walk in, and order!!!!! If you don't like coffee you can always spend your gift cards on Cookies!!!! You can even purchase coffee mugs, travel cups, BISTOTII !!!!!! There is a lot of good stuff for the getting at your local Starbucks! I just wished that they would open a STAND ALONE Starbucks here. The only Starbucks we have here in Alexandria is inside of the Albertson's Grocery Store. It is a very small "stand" and they are very limited on what they offer. I saw an ad in our paper this week from Kroger saying they now have a Starbucks inside but I haven't been there yet to check it out. If I get a gift card from Starbucks I can spend it at one of these two places but I'd rather have a gift card from some other store that I could use more readily. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the GIFT!!!!!! I never turn down a gift. Starbucks does have some very good coffee's. Just received my CE reward. The cookbook and the Starbucks gift card. I like Starbucks but their prices are really out there. Now, they are going up on their prices!!!! You don't get much for your buck at Starbucks. (If you get anything at all. Is anything a buck there???) I don't drink coffee but I do like their cream frappacino. I enjoy the strawberry frappacino every once in a while. It is just too expensive to sip on a Starbucks drink. Who would have ever thought that a cup of coffee could/would cost so much. It is a good thing I got the Starbucks gift card as this months reward. more

I hear a lot of talk about Starbucks. The only thing we have close to a Starbucks here in Alexandria is a small "stand" inside of our Albertson's Grocery Store. I doubt that they offer everything that the regular "stand alone" Starbucks has to offer. First of all, the atmosphere! I'm sure there is no hustle and bustle of shopping carts whizzing by as you place your order for your Starbucks favorites. I wish someone would open a REAL Starbucks here in Alexandria, La.
