The starter went out in the truck, So I had it towed to Stans Garage. And they gave me a est. of 154.72 to replace it. And I had a few other things done The cost for replacing the starter, changing the oil and replacing the coils that I supplied came to 633.88 You can't afford this place. there crooks at best They billed me 155.72 for the starter and then 155.65 to install it. 2.99 for washer solvent, 17.12 shop supplies, 97.86 computer scan, 186.81 to replace the coils that I supplied, 8.90 for LOF? RESPONSE FROM Stan's Garage: Just a miss understanding of what was estimated. Royce is a very nice person and after a investigation into the misunderstanding on his behalf we have straighten it out. My vehicle was inspected and diagnosed in a reasonable time. Repairs were priced reasonably. Car was fixed in a timely manner. Satisfied with the end results. Pleasant and Professional. Was pleasantly surprised to see the exterior of my car was cleaned. Will go back in the future to have other repairs done. Most definitely will recommend to others of their work. My only complaint with their garage was the fact that they placed a company sticker on the inside of my center counsel without my permission and I did not like that. I had Stan's garage replace the timing cover gasket and water pump on my 2004 dodge ram 1500. Very happy with the work and price. When I got the truck back it was clean, other service garages I have to clean grease off the door handle, steering wheel and carpet. I was so impressed with their work I took the truck back to have the idle surge looked at. Stan's replaced the idle air control and the truck is running great. All work was completed as promised. Great service great staff...Very expensive...Could be more reasonable...would use them again if it was the last resort cause they specializes in mitsubishi motors...which I didnt no 1996 sebring has them...will look for another shop but if unsuccesful I will be at stans RESPONSE FROM Stan's Garage: Duana, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Being the best shop around takes excellent techs, expensive equipment and quality parts which will cost you a little more. The job gets done right and professional the first time. My staff is the best of any other shop or dealer in the state of Michigan. With that comes a little more expense which always out weights having to keep bringing it back for the same problem or paying for a repair that doesn't fix your vehicle. You can't have the best employees and pay them less it just doesn't work that way in any business. Superior service comes at a little added cost. I encourage you to keep using Stan's Garage because even thou we are a little more expensive and use quality parts we always fix your car correctly the first time.
