I went in looking for a guitar for my husband. I had planned on spending a lot of money, but the guy who helped me steered me in a different direction, saying that I didn't need to get the model I thought I should. He saved me a ton of money, and hubby was thrilled with his guitar. I've also gone back for sheet music (found some obscure scores), accessories, and repair work. They are reliable, honest and knowledgeable. I hope they NEVER leave us! more

Standard Music Store 8/5/2005

I was looking for some piano sheet music. I think it was Arabesque from Debussy. They had it! They had a very impressive selection of piano music. I also bought some trombone sheet music from them. They have a good sized store and the majority of the front half is filled with acoustic guitar stuff. I understand since that is the most popular instrument lately. THere band repertoire was impressive. The next time I need some sheet music I will go back. Next door is an interesting cafe with lots of smoke that I try and avoid. more

Last music store in town. 7/7/2005

It's unfortunate that this will end up being the only music store around Santa Rosa. Good thing this place offers quality music equipment and supplies. I usually purchase my clarinet reeds, thumb paddings, and other goodies from this place. It also has a wonderful instrument repair service. They usually get bundled up with orders, but its worth the time when your instrument comes back in top shape. Highly recommend this! more
