A new experience 6/26/2008

Every night I jog by this store when it's not open and I've always wanted to go inside. Yesterday I had a chance and it was the best experience. As a girl of fashion (studied and employed by the industry) the items are chosen carefully and I couldn't walk out without making a purchase...As I sat down in what seemed like an office style bench couch I saw the most AMAzing jewelry. They are by someone named Kimmy Winters....I asked if she had a website or any informations where I can see more styles...if anyone knows please let me know! :) And shop at Stacey Todd. You'll love it. Pros: Beautiful presentation and lovely employees Cons: I don't know who Kimmy Winters is.... more

BEAUTIFUL CLOTHING - THANK GOD YOU ARE IN THE VALLEY 4/18/2008

OK - enough of the negative reviews! This store is a GEM with fabulous clothing, many terrific designers....not the BIG designers on Rodeo, which is great. Very unique items and I actually hate sharing this gem of a store. The girls in the shop ARE NOT snotty, they are lovely, helpful and perhaps previous posters had an attitude themselves. I won't kid you, it is pricey but you are purchasing designer wear. If you are looking for less inexpensive clothing, drive down the boulevard and you will find plenty of stores that carry what you are looking for. You can't buy Stella McCartney for ten cents on the dollar. The Denim store and the Home store are just as fabulous. Pros: No other shop like this in the Valley Cons: none more

STACEY TODD AT HOME IS DELIGHTFUL 4/4/2008

From the minute you step into STACEY TODD AT HOME, you are greeted by goodness. Good smells, good sights, good people. It's a very serene shopping environment. It is a little bit pricey, but if appreciate fine things, things that are original and interesting and not available at every corner store, then you will be happy to spend a bit more for the quality. My favorite thing at Stacey Todd are the pillows. Every time I go in there, they have new and different gorgeous pillows. They also have the most adorable cotton nighties in there. I hardly want to take mine off! Here's a tip: If you see something you admire that doesn't have a price tag on it, you should ask. For example, the jars that they use to display soaps and other items are beautiful and... they are for sale. Some of the furniture displays are for sale as well! And the woman who is always there (I don't remember her name but you can't miss her) is so knowledgable and kind. She has electric blue eyes and blonde hair so you'll know it's her when you see her. I love this store! The clothing stores next door, however, which are also called Stacey Todd -- I wouldn't set foot in there EVER. The sales associates are horribly rude and awful. But don't take it out on STACEY TODD AT HOME....it's a good place! Pros: unique merchandise, great service, inspiring environment for home decor enthusiasts Cons: parking is tough, expect to spend a lot more

3 snobby shops 11/18/2007

snotty help indeed. i really don't know how this shop stays in business. their items are over-priced and the help is rude. i guess they cater to people like themselves because they couldn't care less when my friend and i came to shop. those are 3 stores with 3 sets of miserable people. sad. the stuff they sell looks nice, but i would rather give my money to Barney's in beverly hills where they sell the same things. more

Lovely 4/29/2007

Another beautful annex of the Stacey Todd boutique next door. Great candles, books, pillows, etc......very Southampton. Help is much nicer than at the boutique next door. Attitudes are so different here that it makes me wonder if they are even related. If you are looking for wispy thin cotton nightgowns, this is the place to go. You'll quickly become a fan. Pros: Beautifully merchandised Cons: parking a mess more

Great Clothes - snotty help 4/29/2007

I actually love shopping at this store, the clothes are exqusitie and the selection is precise and beautiful. Here is the only drawback...........the help is incredible snotty. They will size you up when you walk in and if you don't have the latest "in" fashion and you don't appear to have a bulging wallet, they won't give you the time of day. I love the clothes at this store but I have to emotionally prepare myself before I go in. Trust me, I buy lots of stuff in this store and they still treat me like dirt. I think they think it adds "panache", when it's insulting and the help could probably never afford to buy anything here unless Stacey gives them the stuff for free. Worth checking out but make sure you put on your own snotty air. A store like this will lose customers over the long term because no none wants to be treated like this! May of my friends have stopped shopping here...for the reasons mentioned above. Pros: beautiful clothing - simple but classic Cons: snotty hired help more

much ado for nothing, paraphrasing big Bill 1/3/2007

Frightful service, bad customer service 12/22/2006

I felt compelled to write a review on the frosty environment at Stacey Todd at home. Last week my family was visiting from Paris and being new to the area I decided to take them on a stroll on Ventura boulevard. My shopaholic mother was intrigued by the window display and loved the soaps and lotions in the store. I am afraid I have to concede with the other reviews listed the sales women ignored us .... the staff were absorbed in their conversation and were completely dismissive of our presence. After being in the store for a full 10 minutes without being acknowledged we left the store empty handed as my mother (VP of a well known successful banking firm and who for the record is an extremely smart, strong and confident woman) simply did not want to invest a dime in a business where the staff have an attitude and her presence was not even acknowledged. Perhaps this is Stacey Todds MO, but for the record I hope the owners of the store please take note, my mother has a discerning taste and when she likes a product, she buys in bulk. We drove to Fred Segal, you lost close to a $2,000.00 sale. Pros: Great gifts Cons: Bad customer service more

Best clothing stores 6/11/2006

Stacey Todd at home, Stacey Todd denim, and Stacey Todd are all amazing stores and i would highly recommend them to everyone. Stacey Todd at home is the cutest and warmest shop. The two clothing stores are also very nice. These stores are so easy to shop in because of the clean and organized atmosphere, unlike most stores which are very unpleasant because of the bad merchandisingn and clutter. Stacey Todd emloyees are also some of the best sales people ever. They treat you as friends and are hilarious. As for the "phony" owner as jchlang62 put it is absolutely ridiculous, you have never met a more generous and non phony woman in your life. As for those who feel like the sales people feel better than you, you must not be comfortable with yourself and very insecure. All these women are trying to do is please you and help you with all of your needs. Overall this store is very good, they do not just sell ugg boots and jeans they sell much more of good quality and unique items than most other stores around. Pros: very nice sales woman and amazing clothing Cons: hard parking more

A cute store with even cuter merchandise 12/4/2005

Stacey Todd is the cutiest store. The staff is friendly and fun. The selection of merchandise and designers represented are fabulous. I would recomend this store to everyone who loves fashion. more

let's set the record straight 8/6/2005

just so everyone knows, stacey todd clothing and stacey todd home are 2 different stores. the home store does not carry jeans and uggs and is a delight to shop in beautiful things and great sales staff. Pros: unique, beautiful gifts, great ambiance more

A perfect example of poor customer service... 7/18/2005

sadly, any store affiliated with the name "Stacey Todd" is synonymous with poor customer service and rude sales people. I have never felt so unwelcome in another store, and was so interested to hear that other friends of mine felt the same way. You know how Julia Roberts gets the snooty treatment in "Pretty Woman", well it's pretty much the same at Stacey Todd. I'm not so sure why they're rude, especially since they don't exactly sell anything that fantastic...i mean, they sell jeans and Ugg boots for goodness sake! I would like to think it is a nice store if it weren't for the phoney owner and her icy sales help. Pros: trendy stuff, unique stuff Cons: nasty sales people, over-priced, no parking more

Who Are These Women?? 7/18/2005

I went shopping at this location, and the store employees seemed to be very conceited. I did not really appreciate their "I'm better than you" attitude, or how they didn't seem to recognize their customers. Pros: good location Cons: bad customer service more

Fabulous 8/13/2003

This store has everything you need for your new home! I was blown away by the selection, not to mention the curtious sales staff, who were well versed in all the stores brands. Pros: Selection, customer service, atmosphere more
