Beer selection is amazing 7/6/2010

The place is uber-cool, indoors and out on the patio: it could easily pass for a business lunch/dinner place as well as friends hang-out, cool bar for casual gatherings, and friendly patio (when It's not 100 degrees outside of course).Beer selection is amazing (skip the silly samplers and go directly to the full menu!), with an extensive menu the choices are varied. They also have a full bar and many beers/ales/ciders on tap to enjoy. Hard to pick out only one of my reccommendations on the menu. You tell ME! What's your choice at St PETES? . Pros: cold BEER! big PATIO! more

Best Patio in Deep Ellum! 6/28/2010

We went to this grill in Deep Ellum for the first time this weekend and had the BEST time. It's a great hang out for happy hour or late night as well. We had the general Bar food but in addition tried their seafood and have to tell you, it's pretty darn good. So good time, good service and great patio in Deep Ellum! Pros: Lots of Tables and great service and food more

If you are looking for the best darn hamburger you have ever had in Dallas, St Peats in Deep Ellum is the place to go. If you are looking for the coolest patio to hang out with your friend at and enjoy a great happy hour, St. Petes in Deep Ellum is the place to go. If you are looking for live Music on Saturday and Friday Nights, yup you guessed it, St. Petes in Deep Ellum is THE PLACE TO GO. So what are you waiting for? Love love love this Bar/Restaurant! 11/18/2009

I went to Pete?s yesterday and let me tell you? this place is GREAT! We were asking about his 6 NEW HUGE tv?s and this bar in Deep Ellum is ready for football! He also said if we picked a tv, he would put on any game we wanted! Now that is service! Not to be stopped at just GREAT SERVICE , the owner went in back and produced the best hamburger I have had in a long time. I took some pictures so you could see the inside so you can try out this non sports bar that is the best sports bar in Deep Ellum. Really, this is a MUST visit. They have a tuna sandwich that is fantastic as well. Give Pete?s a try, I think you too will discover your new burger, sandwich, sports bar, game on, friendly neighborhood bar/ restaurant! Pros: Free Parking during the day on meters! more

Love it! 4/3/2009

The chili dog is the best I've ever had. They get the meat from Rudy's meat market I was told. Paul is usually tending bar when we go in and he is good....very attentive and fast. Plus they have nice beers on tap. I was surprised because the wings are really good too. -Never had a bad experience here. more

Good food, reasonable prices 3/16/2009

Been here several times, and the one common thing to all my visits was that it was always pretty dead there, whether for lunch or dinner or drinks. It's a pretty large place...though it seemed like there were only ever a couple people doing the waiting duties. The food was good, and drinks were okay. There is also a covered patio with plenty of additional space. more

BEWARE! Didn't have a chance to eat. Parking lot scammers booted my car the minute I walked away to get change. $100.00 fine. BEWARE! Pros: To their credit, manangement was sensitive to problem and said they would put up a sign. more

A good place for the most part. 12/18/2008

The food was super. Nothing at all wrong with the food. The people were very nice also. The only problem we had with the place is that there was this loud mouth drunk at the bar. He was a UT fan. And he let everybody know it. We may go back when we come back in town. You wouldn't think he would be there drunk all the time now would you. Pros: A good place to unwind after a conference. Cons: To many drunks at the bar. more

It is honest food! 11/22/2007

Wow the best burger! It?s totally different from the twisted root down the road, it?s not greasy and was cooked to perfection. The HEAP of fries were fantastic and hot hot hot. ( my pet peeve is cold fries). They had a nice side salad that I ordered as well, but let me tell you it was a hard choice, they have a extensive menu and parking is free during the day in deep ellum so I could linger all I wanted. Two thumbs up! GREAT place! Pros: Great casual business lunch place! more
