Worst experience of my life at this hospital 6/18/2014

Would give this Hospital 0 stars if I could. I would not allow the Nurses in the ER to treat my animals let alone a human being. They are rude, judgemental, overtly prejudiced. The patient advocate Sister Catherine is just as bad. I have been trying to reach the CEO of the Hospital to notify him of how his staff behaves in a very unprofessional manner, and until I can get some resolution, I will let everyone know the treatment we received (or rather did not receive) and encourage everyone I know, if you value your life, you will stay as far away from St Margaret Mercy Hospital in Dyer as you can!!!! more

Nurses were Terrible and Rude 5/23/2014

Nurses never even spoke with my doctor when I needed help. They never returned my calls, hung up on me, and treated me like I was inferior. When I finally got a chance to see the doctor (I called his other location- an option the nurses in Dyer never even offered), the doctor had never even received my messages/requests. At first, he really tried to excuse their behavior but after hearing about how they treated me, he concluded it was discrimination and promised to look into it. more

Great Outpatient Surgery Care 11/9/2005

I had outpatient surgery at Saint Margaret Mercy in Dyer, Indiana. The care I received was very good. The nurses made sure I was warm and gave me heated blankets when I got cold. The IV nurse took care to make getting the IV as painless as possible. I was taken down to surgery on schedule and I was released on schedule. I would not hesitate to go back to Saint Margaret Mercy in the future should the need arise. more
