St. John's Lutheran Church located on the Taylorsville Road 3 miles outside of Lenoir is a wondeful small church with a big message. The church is rich in heritage and was one of the first churches established in Caldwell County. Although it is a small church, it is strong and delivers a wonderful message of faith and grace. Many of the members of St. John's were not originally Lutheran but found a Christian love and message of which they desired to become a part. This church family welcomes all. It accepts those who are less than perfect with open arms, knowing that we are all loved by God equally. Being a small church, it knows its members and is there for love of support of all.
