  • The Scene
Newly rebuilt and dedicated in 2001, the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple is surely the most statuesque venue south of Salt Lake City. The two-story, domed structure is modeled after the devotional palace Kusum Sarovar in India, complete with a 200,000-gallon lake and waterfall. The temple sits on the pinnacle of a 15-acre plot, and is a welcome sight for soul-searching I-15 travelers.

    The Skinny
Radio KHQN and the Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork are part of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). Both entities have been around since 1983 and are still spreading the luminous blue words of Krishna. KHQN broadcasts lectures and music full of KC (that is, Krishna Consciousness, not the ringleader of the Sunshine Band).

    What Else?
Sundays at 6pm, they have free, ten- to fifteen-course vegetarian feasts, which are primarily Indian cuisine (although they do have pizza and peanut-butter squares from time to time). Along with the feast, they hold an Arotik ceremony and Bhagavad Gita chat, as well as occasional special festivals and celebrations.
