Dr. Saunders is the most incredible veterinarian. We've been going to her for over 14 years and she has never ceased to amaze me with her kindness, compassion, knowledge, and expertise. She truly loves animals and will do everything in her power to help them. Although we moved upstate, we now travel down to her because we can't find any other vet that compares. In addition, her support staff at SVA is unparalleled -- truly caring and concerned people. Thank you all for everything! more

Dr. Saunders has been my veterinarian for over 12 years and although both my dogs are no longer with me I will say that Dr. Saunders is not only a great vet. but she is also one of the most caring person I have ever met. She recently put my 9 year old rottweiler to sleep and I can't express enough gratitude to her and her staff for all the help they provided through this very hard time for myself and my family. When my canine daughter was having problems breathing, not even the 24hr Valley Cottage could help. Dr. Saunders to the rescue! My pup is now all healthy! She is the best vet in the county! Her father was also a vet, she's grew up around animals and has the best expertise! She will go out of her way to save an animal. Her staff is caring, friendly, and wonderful as well! Her offices are clean. She has done a lot to help control the feline child population as well, helping to spay strays. We heard good things about Dr. Saunders - I even went to check out her office (and ask her some questions) without my cat, and she happily answered whatever questions I had. We had an eye surgery done on our cat at her clinic. All of the staff members at her practice are friendly and very personable. Her estimates and prices were comparable or more reasonable than other vets in the area. You get real personal attention with Dr. Saunders and her staff. We live in NYC but it's worth the trip to a great vet like Maureen Saunders. more

When you think all is lost, it is not. Dr. Maureen Saunders will be a phone call away from the help,understanding,and a professional answer. I live up State New York,north of Utica in the Adirondacks.Our beloved Doberman Comet was diagnosed 2 years ago with Cancer. We took him for treatments twice a month. He was a large loveable part of our family.While in Suffern, Comet took a turn for the worst. We called Dr. Saunders. With out any questions she came to our home to attend to Comet. We knew the outcome was not going to be good. Comet was put to sleep in the house he knew and loved. Friends, this is a Lady who never met us and we had never used her services till this moment. I've been going to Dr. Saunders since 1999. She was very helpful with my old cat, trying to figure out what was up with him, and she and her staff were incredible when I had him euthanized--my first time having to do that. I've now expanded my pack to several animals. We moved out of the area and it's worth the trip to keep using Dr. Saunders as our veterinarian. more

I have taken my pets to Maureen a few times.She is good with the animals and whats nice too is she offers a senior citizen discount which is great for this area of numerous seniors and pets.I recomend her. more
