Spring Hall at Global Forum

I held my wedding at Spring Hall in September 2010. From my first visit to end of the ceremony, I was thoroughly pleased with the service I received, the beauty of the venue, and the tremendous overall value. I had never heard of Spring Hall when I ran across their name in a magazine. The magazine listed them as inexpensive, allowing outside caterers, and allowing outside alcohol. Those three things were important to me, so I decided to check it out. The facility is located in a shopping center so it has ample free, well-lit, parking for your guests. Once you walk through the front doors, you forget that the facility is a part of a shopping center immediately. The venue is beautiful, much more so than some pricier and more popular venues I visited. It has a grand piano, intelligent lighting, a fog machine, a built-in hardwood dance floor, an industrial sized kitchen, a warm and inviting lounge area, a state-of-the-art sound system, a beautifully furnished bride room, and a furnished groom's room. Even the men's restroom was immaculate. I saved a lot of money by being able to bring in my own caterer. I was able to provide an open bar all night by purchasing my alcohol from a liquor store and bringing it into the facility. Spring Hall provided complimentary bartenders and bar setup. Although I didn't use their caterer, they have a caterer on site. I really can't say enough about what a great experience I had working with Spring Hall. Susan and Emily were very accommodating and accessible. If I wanted to drop by the facility any day of the week, I could, and I did. If they were working late to prepare for an event, they even allowed me to drop by after hours. Even my vendors were able to communicate with Spring Hall and make multiple visits to the facility as necessary. I called or emailed with questions as much as I wanted and my calls and email messages were always promptly returned. They truly made me feel like they valued my business, and they went out of their way to make sure that my wedding day was everything that I hoped it would be. The owner (Sydnie) will be very pleasant and will be extremely flexible during the initial negotiation phase? HOWEVER, once the contracts are signed, you will see a completely different side. The owner and the manager have no idea how to manage a business or how to treat their customers. They will do/say ANYTHING to get you to sign and put down a deposit. Only after you?re ?locked in? will they tell you about all of the additional fees that you will incur. After we paid our initial deposit, they even rescinded many of the services that were agreed to be included in our wedding package, claiming that those should never have been included in the first place. There were several items she agreed to include as part of the package, but she later denied ever having said that. Planning for a wedding is stressful enough, but it will be exacerbated tenfold if you have to deal with the shady people at Spring Hall. Our wedding was 3 weeks ago, and we are STILL disputing charges from Spring Hall. Cons: The whole experience was terrible. more

If you commit to having your event at Spring Hall, I highly recommend that you go over every single detail with the management multiple times and in writing. The manager at Spring Hall lacks all attention to detail and will forget any verbal agreements or instructions for your event. SPACE it is just beautiful. you have to visit there since it looked a lot better than pictures. PRICING i had a reception here and the manager was very friendly and worked out around my budget. it was little pricey so i hesitated initially but they managed it within my budget.
