Horrible after hours service. 2/22/2012

I used the after 6 pm external "hand wash" cleaning. Horrible job. should have checked before driving off. Went because my black car had been attacked by birds. After going to Splash in Stamford there were still several large white spots still on my car including a long white streak from the back window all the way down the trunk...impossible to miss. Clearly they two ppl cleaning the car had no interest in doing their job. more

Not So Good... 1/22/2010

When you go to a car wash that claims to be great...you trust and expect a great job done. Not so much when your car gets scratched and they leave things undone such as not drying and missing places. You should not after just leaving a car wash have to clean your windows on your car. more

Thought it Was "Scrathless" 1/22/2010

The price is a little higher than other however, I don't mind paying a little extra for good job done. The first time ever getting my brand new car wash I noticed a scratch on my car. Ugggh. Tried them again and told the guy that took my order for wash and said not blaming however it is a brand new car. When I left the car wash it looked like someone spit on my wind sheild and they did not properly close my back door as I was driving away the open door light went on. Then they always miss spots and don't dry well and in the winter every thing freezes. I even still before realizing the things above gave them a decent tip. Was the job horrible no but the things above to me is just unacceptable. Will have to try the car wash down the road next time. more

$5.99 + Free Vacuums from 6-8, M-Sat 9/22/2005

$6 for a handwash and a free vacuum, not bad!! Go after 6 and there will be no line and they do a decent job. more

Car Clean 8/15/2005

Splash is a regional car wash that has quickly grown and grown and grown. I used to visit their Greenwich location, and then they opened a closer Norwalk location, then last year one in Darien. Now they have opened their latest location in Stamford, at the site of the former Sparkle Plenty Car Wash, at 649 Hope Street and that is the most convenient location yet. Their hand wash for approximately $15 (although they recently had an opening special of $10) provides a thorough interior and exterior cleaning. They do miss some interior spots (like coffee stains on the cup holder but, hey we aren’t paying for detailing) but in general they do a pretty decent job and provide a pleasant waiting area for customers. more
