Spearmint Rhino

Spearmint Rhino, while being a sometimes too-loud strip club, also happens to be a fantastic place for lunch. I went there on my 21st birthday and had a delightful time. I got a free birthday drink as well as a drink included with my lunch. The chicken burgers aren't the icky chopped up patties but 100% real breast meat (tinsert bad breast joke here). My husband had the fingersteaks and they were some of the best he'd had. I'd imagine they're coated in the same delicious beer batter as the fries. They aren't part of the lunch special, though, so they cost a few bucks more. It's a fun place to hang out for a midweek lunch. more

On a Friday or Saturday night, the Spearmint Rhino is a rowdy and overpriced bar full of frat boys and middle-aged divorcees looking to use their expendable income on a lapdance. But on a weekday afternoon, it is a surprisingly tasty place to stop for lunch. The girls in bikinis are still there, but the crowds are not (neither is the cover charge) so it's more of a spot for business lunches than for bachelor parties. Plus their lunch specials are amazing, with burger, fries, and beer running you five or six bucks. And their beer-battered fries are the best in the valley! So if you are open-minded enough to eat at Hooter's, you should be open-minded enough to eat somewhere with a similar atmosphere where the food is actually tasty! more

I know Spearmint Rhino is a bikini bar/strip club, but I honestly think the best thing about the place is the food! During lunchtime (11 am-3 pm I believe) they have cheap lunch specials where you can a burger, a beer, and fries for about $5. The best part about it is the fries are absolutely amazing. I always tell people they have the best fries I have ever had. So if you are 21+ I would really suggest you try going for lunch. I know it may sound weird to go for the food, but it's actually really good. more
