The Dentist- Darren Sholar suggested that we extract 2 of my teeth, on a Wed. Then, I had NEVER EVER EXPERIENCED PAIN LIKE THAT EVER - short from giving Birth - yeah, right up there above Kidney Stones.. And I have had ALL my Wisdom teeth removed! – The Dentist/Sholar also used utensils that I have never seen before, and I have worked in a Dentist office!!! I had a second Appt today (Tuesday). and as soon as I walked in I told the nurse/dental assistant That I was in a severe amount of pain, and did not think that I could go through with anymore work being done without having something to take home for pain. She then, said, something along the lines, of I doubt it,(in a very snappy tone) but let me go talk to your Dentist. She came back, not even 2 mins later and said there would be NO PAIN MEDICATION GIVEN and if I was still in that much pain, - per the Dentist, and I didn’t feel like I could handle anymore work at this time, I could reschedule my appointment. --DURING THIS TIME DARREN SHOLAR DID NOT LOOK INSIDE MY MOUTH ONCE, OR EVEN ASK ME ABOUT THE PAIN- I NEVER EVEN SAW HIM!\r I went up to front desk, got my co-pay back - Did not make another appointment, because who in their right mind, would want to see a dentist again, who didn't even care enough about his patient, to ask some questions about the pain, and take a look. \r I then, was still in extreme pain and Visited Chrystal Rooks DDS, PA in Pink Hill. They had a full schedule but still made time to see me anyways. Come to find out, I have an infection where one of the teeth were, AND DRY SOCKET in both of them. Which, as I have come to learn, CAUSES EXTREME PAIN. Pain like I described to the nurse/assistant in Darren Sholar’s office. \r She (Rooks) then packed each hole, as I will have to do for the next 3 days and her Medical opinion was that, yes, I did in fact, need something FOR PAIN. \r \r I was amazed at the lack of Customer Service, concern by the doctor and staff, and even more insulted once realizing he must have thought I was just there for pain pills. I am an upstanding citizen of our county, A mother of two, and a very NON JUDGMENTAL, hard working - NON DRUG USING WOMAN. It was rude, extremely Judgmental and UNPROFESSIONAL for Darren Sholar to deny me anything for pain, AFTER extracting two of my teeth almost a week prior to this appointment, without so much as looking into my mouth, or speaking to me either. I W ILL NEVER RETURN! \r \r MY TIP: Before Judging any kind of situation, expecially on, that is related to your professional field... SPEAK TO YOUR CLIENTS, ASK QUESTIONS, LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT... Oh, I dont know, maybe you should re-evaluate your job, if you honestly care that little about your clients! more
