I called after 5pm on a Friday with some electrical issues affecting my heat and water. They sent someone out right away. Our Service Pro, Danny B., was great. He was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything to me thoroughly has he was performing the service. It ended up being an issue with our power company (even though they came out earlier and said it was not). He got on the phone with them for me and explained what the issue. The power company came back out and got it working later that night. We had heat and water and we were very thankful, especially since we had a sick kid in the house. I ended up signing up to become a member with Southern Trust Home Services. It is good to know there is someone I can call if there is an issue, they will send someone out in a timely manner and that person will be knowledgable and helpful. more

Finished job quickly and professionally. Kitchen sink drained perfectly. Michael was courteous and worked with me on a very fair upfront cost for repair. more

Daniel, the plumber, was very polite, very thorough and seemed to know every aspect of plumbing. He took time to explain everything he was doing and went above and beyond to let me know about each plumbing fixture in the house. He was very informative and gave tips on maintaining our equipment. more

Mike C. responded to our emergency plumbing need within hours on a Saturday afternoon. His phone call was very courteous to let me know he was on his way, and he arrived promptly to address the problem. Mike was thorough in his review of the problem, and quickly identified the source of the leaking pipe. Due to his skill and training, he traced the problem to the source, and avoided cutting into the ceiling where the leak appeared. He quickly replaced the broken valve with replacement parts he had on his truck, so our issue was resolved in one trip without an emergency upcharge. Mike really impressed us with his professionalism and competency as a skilled plumber. I would recommend Mike and Southern State Electric and Plumbing to anyone in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia. more
