This is the best animal hospital in the area hands down. Doc C and her team are very friendly and will take the time to explain things to you. All my cats are very relaxed in the office. When one of my cats had to take medication, they informed us about a pharmacy that will make it into a paste that you rub in the ear. All of you who have cats know the great difficulty in administering medication. A+++++ more

Fantastic Animal Hospital!! 2/10/2010

Do you want your pets treated with the same kind of care of respect you get from your doctor?? Then take em' to South Town!! \r \r Dr. Crittenden gives all pets equal care and attention. She cares for all the pets in our family which totals between 14 and 18 cats and dogs.\r \r We couldn't EVER think about going anywhere else. The staff is fantastic...Give em' a try!!!! more

South Elgin hasn't had a better vet! 4/18/2006

The address listed is wrong. Even on the website it says it is located at:\r 1944 Gyorr Avenue in\r South Elgin, Illinois 60177\r \r This is the first vet that has actually recommended a great pet food (Innova). They try to keep the vaccinations to a minumum, which no other vet has ever suggested; I believe animals don't need 100 different shots every year, it's just good to have a vet that thinks that way too. They are easily contatced through email or by phone, and the prices are incredibly low! The vet spent an hour in the exam room with us and we had gotten 2 different medications and our total cost was only $64!! PROS: Great vet, friendly staff, very knowledgable, great recommendations-food CONS: a little slow with email responses more
