I am a police officer who received a serious, line of duty injury 4 years ago. The injury was to multiple areas, however the lower back was the most severely damaged. I was told at the time, by the workers comp doctors, that my back was so severely damaged that I may not be able to return to work and my life may never be the same again. I knew Dr. Anthony Carabasi from years prior and began receiving treatment at the SJHWC. Their treatment and Phyical Therapy was so thorough and so successful that I was able to return to full duty 5 1/2 months later. Since then, I have continued regular "maintenance" visits with Dr. Carabasi and Dr. Mike Edenzon and today I have absolutely NO PAIN OR DISCOMFORT in my back, neck, or any other area. I lift weights on a daily basis with no problem and can work a 12 hour shift with no pain or issues.
I remember when Dr. Carabasi shared an office the size of a small coffee shop in Mt. Laurel. His practice was built on and has grown from primarily word of mouth. The SJHWC facility is huge and every member of staff is courteous, professional, and provide all patients with the proper amount of attention and care. I have personally recommended nearly 20 people for treatment there and will continue to do so. A true sign of a successful business is the ability to retain customers (patients) while gaining new ones. Every time I go to SJHWC I see a combination of the same patients that have been going there for years as well as new ones. All of the ones that have been going there for a while, look a lot better and a lot more comfortable than they did when they first started going.
