South Denver Endoscopy

I have been going to South Denver Pulmonary for a few years now. It can be tricky to get an appointment because they are so busy and the automated phone system is kind of annoying. Other than that the staff is friendly and helpful. I always see Dr. Buetz and because of her I am off steroids and oxygen for the first time for my asthma. She's great! She always listens to my complaints and asks a lot of questions. I'm just mad that my company is switching to Kaiser, so now I won't be able to go here anymore. I started going here a few years ago. I was seeing a Dr Alan Wicks. A Year later he retired and I had to see a Michele Buetz? Dr Wicks cared for his patients and listened to any complaints or concerns. Dr Buetz? well she never listens is always in a hurry to get you out the door and get the next Dollar in the door. I think they work on commission. I called and complained and even met with her and voiced my concerns. Now I have called 2 times trying to get an appointment to see a new Dr and I can no get anyone to call me back. My PCP asked me to give them one more chance.. I did and wont go back. After National Jewish took over they are money hungry and do NOT care about patients. Please ask you PCP to give you another referral do No go here. Unless you dont mind being treated like poo. I'm sick as the devil, drive two hours, and the won't even CONSIDER billing me my co pay, which I would normally bring but left my checkbook at home. What a JOKE. Talk about not caring about the patients, it's all business here...I hope the doctors are nicer when I go back with my money, and I would suggest they make it CLEAR they don't do this since I have been in the healthcare system sick as a dog for a few years now and have been able to bill my copay with a late fee 100% of the time when I elect to do so. Parking is a NIGHTMARE if you are obese, elderly or injured so make sure you have someone drive you, for only the physicians can park within easy walking distance of the front. That stupid garage at Swedish that says ""visitors and families"" only, that's a lie - I was almost taken out by 3-4 different grouchy, smoking nurses trying to find a spot to park. Pros: The PHYSICIANS have top notch parking! Cons: Everything - if you're sick, don't even try and go it alone here, get treated like cattle. more
