We Never Duck Anyone 3/12/2013

I am the service manager, We have been in business for 50 years and have only these negative comments of people who you will never please. The cabin guy has a panasonic tv that we got replaced out of warranty!!!! It was not our fault that the manufacturer sent parts that were defective. As far as the other customer we helped as much as we could but the parts were not available. It happens. If your upset we didn't answer the phone the one time you called. I'm sorry, nothing else I can say. My name is Will and I will do everthing in my power to make you happy. Sometimes it just out of my control. more

As for support, I will echo the previous reviewer who says they act like they wish you would just go away: Unless of course you wish to spend more money. We had just moved to COS from another state and had some Paradigm speakers under warrantee that blew. We took them there. After going home I got a call from the shop manager who began questioning me about how they were both broken. He said it didn't make sense to him that these weren't working and asked how we had been abusing them....WTF!?! Yep that's right. I found out later they broke due to the moisture and altitude change. Unfortunately we also bought the Control4 from them and their techs installed the system. I ordered light switches to go with it but they conveniently didn't come in on time so I had to pay two separate installation fees. I received no manual for the system, no support materials of any kind after asking numerous times. It was as if they said yes, yes, and yes, and once you left the store or the tech left our house we were out of sight and out of mind. During the whole experience were told, ""Don't worry, I'll take care of you and we'll work out the lowest price along with full product support."" During the whole process we purchased other equipment from them. I found one unit they offered for less online and I told them about it to see if they would match the price. The came down on their price but were still hundreds over the math price. I was then proceded to warned if we brought the that unit in for service, AND PAID FOR THE REPAIRS, that we still wouldn't be given any priority over products brought in for service that were bought from them. You can interpret this however you like. For me, a screaming red flag. I am now having problems getting help from them for the Control4 issues. I have called twice and they keep saying they will get right back with me. I'm still waiting. I guess you live and you learn. These guys are full of it and you will notice this soon after you begin to deal with them on issues that don't seem to direct benefit their bottom line. I am slaved to them for Control4 technical support and considering paying the extra money get another tech team to come and take over my system. Unfortunately for us, we had already done business with them before we were able to put the whole experience together and evaluate it. I/we will not do business with this store again. I do not care what the implied savings are. You can do what you want obviously. But, I sincerely hope you at least read and keep this in mind if and when you go there. At least then you will see what more

Buyers beware, especially when dealing with Jim. If not dealing with Jim, remember they all share the same business approach philosophy. These guys will say anything to get your money. After going home I got a call from the manager who began questioning me about how they were both broken....WTF!?! I'll bet if I physically went to the store and wave some money around they would wine and dine me on the spot. In the beginning that's what they did to us. I guess you live and you learn. After having our plasma TV repaired by the Sound Shop for what appeared to be a minor issue, the TV completely failed (black screen). The Sound Shop would claim no responsibility and we had to make numerous calls to even get a call back from their service department. As of today we are still waiting for a call back. We get the feeling they wish we would 'just go away'. more
