We got the livingsocial deal for 2 nights in a Deluxe Villa Room, which I totally recommend. We got a gorgeous, spacious room (Room #9, I believe) with a huge jetted tub, fireplace (so romantic!!) and radiant HEATED FLOORS. Since I'm perpetually cold, this was the part I looked forward to the most. Heated floors! It was amazing! There was a thermastat where you could adjust the temperature--and it really worked! If I ever win the lottery, my whole house is going to be equipped with this cozy feature. I kept turning up the thermastat whenever my boyfriend wasn't looking. And then I frolicked and luxuriated in the warmth until my boyfriend would scowl and turn it back down -_-
We arrived around 8PM, so we got a great first impression of the estate with its lit up pathway. No cell phone reception except in the lobby area but that's the point of a getaway, isn't it? Breakfast was really delicious, especially the egg spinach fritta thing. Mmmm. I had two platefuls every morning.
The owner Johannes was really nice and accommodating, not sure why other people had such contrasting experiences with him. Shrug. I wasn't expecting Disney falling all over themselves service, though, so maybe that's why."
