After having birthed 5 kids, I didn't have any hope of ever loosing my ""kangaroo pouch."" Dieting & exercise left me discouraged because I wasn't getting the results I wanted. From my first phone call to my end result, I can't say enough good things about Sono Bello. I have hated my thighs and hips all my life. To me, Sono Bello is a place where you can ""bring yourself back into focus"". I hit 41, looked in the mirror and realized that working out just wasn't working. While I was healthy, I didn't like the way I looked. I had belly fat that would just not burn off. I did some research, contacted Sono Bello, had a consultation, and scheduled a procedure with Dr. Chung.\r \r I was a little nervous, but found Dr. Chung to be very reassuring. I also found his total honesty to be very refreshing. He didn't claim the procedure would be pain free or that I should expect ""minor discomfort"". He didn't deny it would hurt a little, but promised it would be worth it - and it was!\r \r The pain was temporary and the swelling was 80% gone in 2 weeks. Full recovery takes 3-6 months, at least it did in my case. It's been 4 months now and I'm still looking a little better every week. I love being able to wear snug T-Shirts again. After turning 46, trying to eat right and exercise just didn't seem to be enough. I saw a billboard for the ""smart Lipo"" and thought to myself, ""just how long am I going to wait?"". I live in a smaller town about 4 hours from Portland. After much research I decided it would be worth the trip, as I read how professional and caring the Sono Bello staff was and the Surgeons are Top-Notch. After my first call and talking with Shab, I was put at ease and felt good about making the call I am so glad I did. It is about 6 1/2 weeks now I am very happy with my results I am still a little lumpy around the abdomen area, but that was to be expected. It is so amazing to have a waist again and no more turkey neck or sailing upper arms! Dr. Chung did a great job and I am so thankful for the way everything worked out. Because I live out of town, Shab was able to help me over the phone and the inter-net, so that when I did come in I was able to go ahead with the surgery and not have to spend an extra day. I have hated my thighs most of my adult life--no matter how much I weighed--worked out----they stayed big, lumpy and bumpy---I have worked out daily for several years--my thighs stayed the same--I never wore shorts or bathing suits. I had the outer/inner thighs and banana belt (back thighs) procedure done approximately two months ago ---I am thrilled with the results. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner ---I just returned from a trip to southern CA and actually wore a bathing suit --I felt sexy and fantastic!--- I heard of Sono Bello on the radio so didn't know what to expect. Shab was my consultant --she was kind, informative, honest and realistic about the pros and cons of the procedure. This is a serious procedure andI would encourage you to go in and talk to them-- ask a lot of questions and schedule it accordingly so you have time to recover without feeling rushed to return to work too soon. There is some down time --but it is soooooo worth it! Dr. Chung was kind and professional and the entire staff was amazing. I actually felt like they cared and it was just as important to them to do a great job on making me look and feel good as it was to me. I did not do this procedure to lose weight--I did it because I was embarrassed with the look of my thighs and behind and I knew this was the only way to re-shape them. I couldn't be more happy with the results. I am not saying my thighs are now perfect -BUT--I have thighs that look good for my body type---the bumps and lumps are gone--a few inches as well and I just feel great about how they look. I read reviews and wonder if the people that write them are real and have nothing to gain from them. First off I would like to start out by saying that my experience from the start with Sono Bello was very informative and wonderful. I met with Shab and she went into detail about what I should expect, the positive and the possible negatives and prepared me for my life changing experience! The entire staff made this an amazing expierance, even the front desk staff made me so comfty. I was so nervious for my big day and after talking with the staff I could tell they truely cared about me as a person and did everything they could to make me feel at home. I honesty had that warm and fuzzy feeling (as cheesy as that sounds) everytime I went into Sono Bello! I am not a touchy person but I gave Dr. Sharma a HUGE hug and couldnt help by cry and could have hugged him for an hour because he CHANGED MY LIFE! I still cry everytime I think about how much this has changed my life, it has given me confidence that is important for anyone to have. I am not a vain person at all but I have always been insecure about my body and now I AM NOT! I am getting ready for my wedding and actually look forward to trying on a wedding dress! I was a size 18 before my procedure and am only 3 weeks out from surgery and I am already wearing a LOOSE size 14! I cant wait to see how much more my body changes. I would and HAVE recommened Shab to anyone who wants to be educated about this procedure and Dr. Sharma to anyone that wants to have a new body and deal with a doctor that not only cares about making you look great but cares about you as a person! I called Dr. Sharma the day after my surgery because I was still in shock that I had gone through with my procedure and had a million questions, it must have been 6am ( because I know I woke him up at home!) he answered all my questions and talked to me for a long time and made me feel SOOOOOOOO much better!!!!! I went into Sono Bello uncertain that it was the right choice and after my first consult with Shab I couldn't wait to get back in there to have my procedures. Shab was so helpful and sweet at making sure I was doing something I really wanted to do and making sure that I had ample support from my husband as well. It was so refreshing to know that they were truly there to help me from start to finish and the whole way through my comfort and health were always their top priority. Dr. Gorin is absolutely the most amazing doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I was a size 22...just put on a size 12, fitz like a glove. Had a great time from the consult to the procedure. Shab was excellent at setting me up for the procedure, answering ALL my questions. I was soooo nervous day of, but, as soon I entered the building I was set at ease. The nurses and Dr. Gorin were amazing. The discomfort during and a few days after was ABSOLUTELY worth it. Here I am in my mid life (or more)and looking and feeling better than I can ever remember! - My husband thinks so too! \r \r Thank you Sono Bello and the Portland staff.. \r \r After a lot of searching I chose to have laser lipo to get rid of the stomach, muffin top and saddles that I just could not get rid of any other way! The results are amazing! \r \r I was a snug size 14... Now, 90 days later I am a baggy size 6 a comfortable size 4!\r \r The entire staff has been so enjoyable to work with. Kind, understanding and knowledgable. And Thank you Dr. Gorin. \r \r I gotta tell you, He is not only a talented body sculptor but - just a great guy.
