This is a nice restaurant. The service was well, not the best but good. The food was really really really good. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. :) A+

Worst

Horrible service, Expect to be lied to if you try and plan a party. Not sure how this man stays in business. i booked a party and he bumped me to some smelly room with holes in...

We were welcomed before we parked our car. Walked in and seated,from our car...WOW. The place was busy, yet all through our meal we wehe catered to. Food was good also with value for our$, and the view is outstanding. We made reservations for next week. This was worth the travel. more

Horrible service, Expect to be lied to if you try and plan a party. Not sure how this man stays in business. i booked a party and he bumped me to some smelly room with holes in the walls when a bigger offer came his way. Sonny is a creepy old man who got in an arguement with me in front of my guests. He did not give a discount for all his mistakes, he is a rude inconsiderate person and his restaurant looks like a time warp....DONT GO! more

Sonny's Restaurant On The Lake is perfect! 6/20/2009

What a wonderful restaurant! We were able to enjoy a cocktail at the bar while waiting a mere 15 minutes for our table at a window. The service was great. Not too hurried but we did not have a wait between courses. We watched the swans drifting to and fro while enjoying our date-night. The food was amazing (as always) as was the atmosphere. We would highly recommend Sonny's! more

The new Sonny's By the Lake 5/12/2008

We have tried this each time the name has changed (which is several times over the past few years). Currently it is called Sonny's by the Lake. We made the mistake of not waiting at Portofinos and trying this one, again.\r \r The service was terrible. We were rushed through ordering even though the place was very slow. The drinks were small and overpriced and my dinner tasted like a frozen dinner. Mrs. Pauls would have been a much better choice.\r \r Based on my experience, I guess the name will be changing again. Don't bother with this one. more
