Sobe Live is the hip hop mecca in South beach Miami , the staff is great and the music is on point ! the best way to get in would be on the guest list ! i recommend you call Rich 754 204 2306 he is a vip host there ! this club has a very large dance floor 3 big vip areas and a 2nd floor vip ! the drinks are affordable including table prices ! the dj is always on point playing the best of old school to the newest songs in hip hop ,r&b,reggae .this club holds 700 people which is large compaired to some of the clubs on South Beach . A Must Visit . more

I recently visited Miami for Memorial weekend and i decided to go to Sobe Live. I purchased tickets early for their Thursday party where Freeway was performing live. They honoured my ticket at the door My time in line was very minimal drinks were affordable not overpriced like most of the clubs in the area. I had a wonderful time the staff was friendly , the music was great and the club was beautiful it was worth every penny i spent. Pros: GREAT MUSIC,FRIENDLY STAFF,BEAUTIFUL DECOR, Cons: NONE more

This is the worst club in south beach. Should be shut down. Don't go save your money. Go else where more

This place is the spot to be at on the weekends! Thursday nights here is crazy, the music the dancers the drinks! It is all hot! I had a great time here and the bartenders sure know how to make a drink. I came back with some friends on a Saturday and it was a hot! As a tourist in Miami, Fl. I was disappointed about standing in a line for 1 1/2 hours; however, I did receive a free pass to get in and see T-pain perform on Friday, Sept. 28th. He put on a great performance and I was very pleased. I also got a chance to see Lil. Scrappy and Rick Ross. The vibe was very cool and down to earth. The dress code was strictly enforced and the drinks were very good but expensive. Overall, I had a great time but compared to the Platinum of Birmingham, Al.-I would inform you that Sobe live is small with nowhere to really sit. Pros: Dress code strictly enforced, good drinks. I have been to this club a couple of times because I live on South Beach....The DJ's play the best hip hop music. The staff is really nice and the drinks are really strong. Of all the pretentious clubs on the beach, Sobe Live is definitely not one of those. The people are a bit young though. If you want to listen to GREAT hip hop music this is the club. I have been there on a slow night and on nights where you could not move. I think it really depends on the time of the year. This is really more of a touristy club! I would recommend it if you are tired of the garbage from other clubs that want to seem as though they are full of beautiful snobby losers and bad hip hop music...... My sister and I went to this club Dec 16 which was a Saturday. Although we got there around 2 am, it seemed empty. The bartendar was very cool and convesational. She even did a shot with us while we looked around the room for any nice looking guys. I did notice that most of the people there were not cute. Seemed like all the people who couldn't get in at the club next door (which boost about having beautiful people) came to SoBe Live. Which is why after about 30 - 45 minutes we left. We were ready to see some cute guys. The drinks were cool. I did appreciate I could tell there was alcohol in my drink. While we didn't stay live, it was only because the people in there were corny and seemed to be a crowd around the age of 22-25 and we were looking for a crowd more sophisticated. The music was cool. It was a mix of hip hop, reggaeton, soul, with a little pop. Nothing out of the ordinary. There was a definite dance floor which was a good thing. I would go back there as a warm up before I went to another club or just for something to do on a chill. I would probably go there and just sit at the bar for a while since the staff was very cool. Pros: No long lines or funny acting door men. Cons: Ugly people everywhere in the club. more

I visited Sobe Live on a Friday night and it was cool. DJ spins mainly new HIP HOP and RnB Hits. Drinks are OK. But the environment is really fun. A MUST FOR FOR THE "HIP HOP HEAD" ! DJ plays ALL the hot songs !They sometimes have celebrity guests. They also have strip poles on a stage for girls that wanna have a "little more fun" . Great times !
