Awesome, thorough vet 1/11/2012

Doc's office got me in in under 15 minutes for an emergency. My dog had hurt his neck and Anchor Bay was charging us a bunch of money and we were getting no results. They also told us they had to remove a skin tag right away because it could become a large issue later down the line and wanted almost 400 dollars for it. We took him to Doc after he was laying on the floor and yelping, they took x-rays of his neck and front legs, which Anchor Bay failed to do, and gave me two perscriptions for 100 dollars, and said if that didn't work, they would refer us to a chiropractor. \r \r The medications didn't work, I called, they gave me the referral to Dr. Nancy Patterson, who is located on Gratiot, just south of Harington. She's amazing. 40 dollars every time we go, no matter what she has to do, and after almost two months of constant pain, my dog was back to normal after seeing her once. \r \r Doc is very quiet, but he is thorough and explains what is wrong with the animal and answers all of my q more

Malpractice 8/4/2011

I have personal experience that this guys is a quack. I witnessed blatant malpractice and am lucky that my pet has not suffered for it. It was clearly evident that he did not know what he was treating and did not offer to perform any diagnostics. I am guessing there may be a reason his prices are so reasonable. more

A Vet with a Heart 6/11/2010

I worked for Doc for fifteen years. He is truly a vet with a heart. He loves animals, breeds and shows them. Before I was employed by him, he was my vet and serviced our horse farm, it was there I got to see his 'heart'. You will not find another vet with as much understanding and patience. I now live in Texas, but still consider him my vet and friend. more

Dr. Snyder is a top of the line large and small animal vet. My wife and I have been a dog trainers for over 40 years, owner/operators of a Training School for some 25 years. In addition I was an AKC Obedience Judge for 35 years, (retired), and owner/trainer of many dogs, from Papillon to Newfoundland in size. I've known "Doc" wearing his other hats of; Obedience, Schuzhound, Tracking and Breed handler. We hold him and his practice in high esteem. more

S Cook 4/22/2007

my husband and I have been bringing our 2 dogs and 2 cats there for around 5 years. I like this vet alot and he has VERY reasonable prices. He's been in business for, (just guessing), 25 years. Anchor Bay Vet requires a co-signer to bring your animals and we stopped going there when they built their million dollar building! more
