The Smolarek family exceeded our expectations when taking care of my father's funeral. Since they are family owned and operated, there was always a member of the Smolarek family on call to help us throughout the process. They were surprisingly affordable considering the elegant facilities they have. Dan Smolarek Jr. even assisted me in filling out all of my father's insurance, social security and Veteran forms for me and my family. I know funerals are difficult, but this funeral home made it so much easier on my entire family. My family lives all around Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Lancaster and Elma and they were conveniently located. In my opinion, the Smolarek Funeral family is the best in the area to call when in need. more

It was sad to see the review saying that this funeral home offered personalized service. The great information provided about preneed services and Medicaid come from the fact that the owner is primarily an attorney. My aunt was buried out of this funeral home about two years ago, and come to find out the staff at the funeral home did not even show up at my aunts house to pick her up when she died. More disturbing is that it wasn't even an employee of the funeral home that embalmed my aunt. It just disheartens me to see people falling victim to this dishonesty.\r \r mary more

Director Dan Smolarek Jr. was so informative and helpful with all of my Medicaid and irrevocable trust questions.
