I love Smart Tan! it is so convenient when you are a student. I can go in real quick and come out with a great looking tan. I love the level 5 bed, I feel great when I come out. I actually look so much better than I thought, especially with the Lumiere Lighting. I would definitely recommend Smart Tan to all my friends! more

This salon is unlike any other I've ever seen. It's very nice looking inside and is always kept clean. There are complimentary vanities with pre-tanning and after-tanning products, which I've never seen offered in any salon before. There's various tanning information and a video played at all times so a customer can become educated. There's a variety of packages with good prices for the tan you're going to achieve. I'd recommend this salon to anybody looking to get the quickest and healthiest tan they can! more

The owner is super sweet! This was my first time here and he took his time explaining all the beds and packages. I was shocked when seeing their Level 5, I felt like a pop star lol! The floors are wooden and marble, it looks so chic and new. He told me about his other 2 locations (one in Warwick, RI and Somerville, MA) where I could use my package also. I am excited about finally finding a salon that is clean, courteous, and new equipment. Smart Tan gets 2 big thumbs up! more

I am a customer at their Somerville location, but go to this one from time to time. I REALLy love Smart Tan. Their beds are always clean, the staff and owner are very nice, and they do have the safest bed. I enjoy tanning, but am also worried about the risk of cancer {go figure}, but using their safest bed does put some of my worries away. I recommended this place to all my friends and they are just as happy and bronze as me! =) more

not a bad salon ive had on and off experiences here. the salon managment seems to be unorganized ive been double charged on my credit card several times and the girls always tell me i have to wait to see the manager and owner. after my package is up this month i wont be going back. i recognize the pictures from the ppl reviewing as employees of the salon so i dont think that there are many real reviews on here. so here it goes - the salon tends to NOT be clean when the owner is working but alot of the other girls keep it clean - they know their products well. - its overpriced with sneaky extra charges here and there - managment does not always respond quickly to charging problems - they make you believe that the bed is 100% tanning rays and thats its healthy for you which is wrong - they have alot of problems with AC its always breaking. ive come in to find out that i couldnt tan for several weeks cuz the level i wanted to use was broken - i used one of the higher level beds with a lotion and my husband goes to another salon with a bed thats not a ""smart tan"" bed and we got the same color at the same time and he saved alot of money. I wouldnt reccomened this salon for your money more

my first impression of this place was quite impressed. The salon was super clean and modern with high tech equipment. The staff were super nice, helpful and actually made me feel comfortable and happy doing business with the salon. I got greatest results, my tan came out looking like I just vacationed in hawaii. I'll def will be coming back :) more

This salon is so chic. It's nicer (and cleaner) than my hair salon! My tan is so brown, the girl recommended the best lotion i've ever tried, as soon as I put it on I knew why that Australian Gold stuff or whatever I was using before was so cheap! I felt it like sinking into my skin and getting me so tan! I usually get burned at tanning salons at first, but they have beds with more tanning rays so instead of being red and unable to move for a day, the girl put me in for a shorter time and all my freckles came out... no burn! So cute! I am so pleased! To me, this is so much better than paying like $5 per tan like you do at other salons because you ACTUALLY get tan and stay tan. I went out of town for a couple of weeks and my skin was still glowing by the time I got back. Highly recommended. Pros: Its gorgeous!!! more

5 levels of tanning is only 20 bucks per month!! cannot not get any better. the L5 bed is AMAZING!!! very nice staff, awsome beds, extremely clean. great location. kind of high prices but the beds are great. the girl that helped me iwth the spray tan was so knowledgable she got in and showed me exactly how to do it and offered me tips cause she does it. also got a tour which was great i never knew there was so much to tanning. overall the place is spa like clean the staff workers are always cleaning. the place is great. only complaint is the somewhat high prices and the forever chaning salon hours. id def reccomend this place over hte other salons in the area. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff member explained the five levels of their tanning technology to me. I chose the highest level (five) and he helped me decide on the amount of time I would spend on my first visit. The level 5 is about $30 but I have seen similar beds cost $40 at salons, so I think the pricing is reasonable. It was a very fancy bed that talked, had great air conditioning, was really comfortable, and had the option of using pure UVA ""after-bronzer"" technology at the end of the tanning session. With such a clean and high-tech facility and with its outstanding staff, I wish this new salon the best of luck. I will definitely be a frequent customer. What a place! They had like all the best equipment, because much of it I saw on E! entertainment?s tanning documentary where they discussed the safest and most effective equipment. It's funny how all the best looking people find these best places, because the girls and guys going in and out of here are so beautiful. Friendly, knowledgeable staff; clean, modern facility; high-tech, feature packed equipment. I have never seen such advanced equipment it includes anti-wrinkle technology. The staff walks you through how the skin tans and how the different equipment features will effect your tan and your experience.
