Slumberland in Bemidji leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered 2 leather sofas on March 31st and signed a contract which stated delivery should be in 3 weeks. (written on contract) 6 weeks later I called and was told any day. Finally we set up a delivery date and when the delivery guys came out they damaged the sofa. They took it back to the store and when i called and asked how long,I was told a couple weeks and we'd have it. 2 holidays without furniture came and went. Mother's day and Memorial Day. When i called no one could tell me anything. I finally talked to the manager John. He said it was my fault the sofa was damaged and I would just have to wait until they got the leather in to fix it! Then when i asked for the district manager he said there wasn't one. I asked for the number to corporate office he said go on line and look for it! I called corporate 6 times and haven't gotten any calls back from them either. I have now asked for a refund and going 12 weeks and haven't received that either. DO NOT EXPECT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IN BEMIDJI. try a different furniture store!
Pros: NOT any from my perspective. waiting 12 weeks for furniture is ridiculous!
Cons: Manager not willing to provide good customer service.
