Not only is the driving range great but they also have 10/19/2006

a really neat mini-golf course and batting cages. They have slow softball and slow, medium and fast hardballs. They will provide batting helmets and bats if you don't have them. If you're going to bat for a while, then you should get some batting gloves on your own. You can work up a nice sweat in the batting cage in a fairly short amount of time. I'll go there a couple of times a month during the summer. more

Skokie Golf Range 8/20/2005

This driving range is excellent. The golf balls come up automatically and you can adjust the tee height electronically. Also, there are heat lamps which makes this driving range accessible even during the winter. The range has two levels, so for you begineers out there, you'll be able to hit the ball farther from the second level. more

Luxuries of golf 8/13/2005

This driving range is in the suburbs , but if you live nearby, it's worth the trip. You purchase a pre-paid card for balls, which you can use on your next trip if you decide not to golf for as long as you originally anticipated. Increments range from I think $10-$100. What's also nice is that the balls set up on rubber tees automatically. You insert your pre-paid card and a ball comes up from a hole in the ground, and sits on a tee. After you hit it, a new one pops up, and you continue to swing without having to set up each time. Also, it's a two-floor driving range, so if there isn't room on ground-level, you can go upstairs and practice. You still hit into the same area as you would on ground level. Nice practicing place! more

Excellent Driving Range 8/7/2005

Skokie Driving Range is a great place to go to practice your driving skills. It is a bi-level range, meaning tha tfor those who need to make it seem like you hit farther, try the second level. The balls come out automatically from the ground at each booth and the tee height can be adjusted from the console. The price is very reasonable with cards of $10-$50-$100. Skokie residents have a discount. I have been playing here for a few years now and am one of my favorites. more
