I'll be the first to admit that I'm a $ucker for Skippers (it wouldn't let me put the word *ucker where *=s). I've been eating here for years and years and I've always loved their food. Skippers started in Washington and there are quite a few locations, although a number have closed down in the recent past. This is basically like fast-food seafood. The battered-and-fried cod is pretty tasty and you get your basic fish and chips. There's nothing altogether fancy about the place, but you get your fish and chips and a tasty white clam chowder. I've always loved Skippers' clam chowder, and while I've eaten many more expensive and fancier chowders, I've always liked Skippers' chowder the best. I don't know what it is... It's your basic fish and chips restaurant, you can get shrimp, clam strips, and some baked fish options and salads. It's a pretty basic restaurant that has been in the northwest for ages, and hopefully will stay.
Pros: All-you-can-eat
Cons: Few locations, fried foods aren't quite heart-healthy foods
