I can't believe...how is that place open??? is really dirty in the kitchen, floors, bathrooms, do u know what are u eating there??? SKEWERS should be inspected‎ Cons: Bad service, DIRTY. more

Went there last Friday night,it was absolutely fabulous ,fresh hummus and skewers plates are a big portion of food and prices are very reasonable.They don't have a full bar,but they have a soju bar with excellent martinis and also beer and wine.Service was excellent!!..Joe and Drew make a great teamwork!,so I had to ask when do they work,so you'll see them on weekend nights.I've been there before and I definitely going back again!! I don't recommend anybody eating at this restaurant especially when Javier is working because he wants a BIG tip if he does NOT get one he will complain to the customer and request a BIGGER tip... Pros: Food just OK..... Cons: BAD service people wanting BIGGER tips!!!! more

I just dined here last evening for the first time. Nothing stood out until I went to the bathroom and found the door to be extrememly dirty. The toilet seat was one of those you had to use your knee to hold up, and then when I exited the inside of the door was dirtier than the outside. When I returned to my table, I warned my dinner party before they went. While they were gone, I picked up the table tent card in it's plastic holder to read their specials. That was crudier than the bathroom door, and I shuddered at what I could be picking up from the thying. All I could do is rub my hands on my pants as hard as I could. The food was OK, but not good enough to bring me back because of the cleanliness. Also when I went to ask for change from a $5 bill for the tip, I saw the waiter hand the cook the bill, who then exited the back door to go to his car to get change. ?????? Management - Get yourself a screw driver. some 409, and a cash register. What kind of a place are you running? more

We visited Skewers for my birthday and overall it was a disappointment. Although the warm pita and dips we were served for an appetizer were tasty, the other food was not. The chicken skewers were dry and tasteless and the other food was bland and boring. The service was also bad -- our waiter pretty much ignored us all night. Save you money and go elsewhere! more

My partner and i went to West Hollywood for Pride 05 and we ate at SKewers and it was wonderful.The food the prices the atmosphere but overall the service !!!! Dave was our server and he was by far the most pleasant person i believe i have EVER met.There are tons of restaurants to choose from but low and behold we went to Skewers the second night,for the food of course but mainly so we could have the DAVE experience.He treated us as if we were Royality.He also offered to show us the town on our next trip.As we will hold him to that.Vegas needs nice service like that.Just go there and look for alot of teeth and curly locks...his smile will give him away.TRUST ME...always smiling.Dave thanks for 2 great nights in WEHO...luv ya !!! I really like the Skewers concept, mixing and matching on the menu. It makes ordering fun. The food is generally very good, although some of the meat was tough, but at $10-$13, it was to be expected.....the marinades are the best part. As for the famous hummous, maybe I missed the seasoning selection, but I thought it was rather bland. Service was good and the scene was cool, although I don't know if trendy is the right word. I have eaten there many times and have tried many items on the menu. The food is excellent! There are many different items on the menu, so you will always find something you will love. I have many favorites, Shrimp & Chicken Limone Pasta, Shangai Noodles and not to forget the best Hummus I ever tasted. This place was fantastic. I was very happy with the quality of the food and the service. Nice and pleasant Restaurant though the outside Patio is the place to sit and watch the by-goers. Very European feel with all the restaurants having patios side by side, lining the side of Santa Monica Blvd. Thanks to all the Staff for the great experience! This restaurant is a gem. I have been there once before the construction on Santa Monica Blvd., but I must say this experience was unbelievable. The restaurant is different, they have a brand new menu with new appetizers and a hummus bar. The food was delicious and not overpriced like the rest of WEHO. It's obvious that management is puttiing all the positive reviews up on citysearch. Just take a look at the dates of all the positive ones. We sat down to have what we thought was going to be a great meal per the reviews. The food was very bland at best. The beans had no flavor and were undercooked. The rice had no flavor. We rarely use salt but this meal needed something. The meat seemed very cheap. There was a bizarre aftertaste and poor consistency. It seemed as though they try to hide this with grilling. We had the santa fe chicken, the filet mignon and lamb. None had even the slightest bit of flavor. Also, the something can be said for the artwork on the wall. A naked spread eagle man on the wall leaves you with a bit of a bad taste in your mouth. Pros: inexpensive, good service Cons: cheap cuts of meat, no flavor more

I cant believe a restaurant like this exists in LA> i mean i couldnt believe how good the food was. AND to top that all off, i couldnt believe it was soooo cheap. the outdoor patio is dope and the staff was very friendly and helpful when i couldnt quite decide what to order. unbelievable! more
