Skates On Haight

Shipped the wrong skates, then dragged out sending a return shipping label with a million excuses of why it was delayed for about a week and a half!! Then they lied saying they'd ship the correct pair once UPS scanned the shipping label. Two days after the label was scanned, called was put on hold for over 10 minutes, hung up on and then put back on hold only to be told that the owner needs to authorize the release of the shipment - but she had left and wasn't answering her cell phone!! We just want our son's skates for crying out loud! He had to wait longer than what we were originally told to receive them only to get the wrong ones! Now it's going on 4 weeks since the order was initiated!!!! more

Ordered online, apparently my credit card billing address differed from the one I gave them so instead of contacting me, they refunded my order and cancelled my account. I would've been waiting for my order to arrive in the mail that never would come had I not tried to log in and see my account was cancelled. When I called to inquire as to why my account was cancelled the guy who I was talking to was very rude and condescending. If I didn't want the bones christmas ornament so bad I would've told him how I really felt and parted ways for good. We fixed the card issue and then I get an email telling me that shirt I also ordered for my kid was now out of stock. (most everything I wanted to order was out of stock, aggravating!) It was over $10.00 for shipping a t-shirt and small ornament, wow! Bottom line, the employees are rude, I guess that's the culture bred there, customer service sucks, nothing in there extensive selection is ever in stock, shipping is insanely high. I will never order anything from Skates on Haight ever again and I suggest you don't either. There is enough competition out there not to have to take the abuse they give. Hopefully my order comes in a timely manner, time will tell. more

I got recieved my board that i ordered only 3 days ago. The board is amazing quality and everything has arrived perfect. The people in the shop were extremely helpful. Overall this site is amazing and delivers top quality stuff. Thankyou so much Skates On Haight :) more

I was buying a skateboard for my 12 year old son Adam, and the staff of Skates On Haight were extremely helpful! I had no idea what the difference was between skateboard parts, but Carol showed me exactly what I needed. Thanks guys! more

this skate shop is located on haigh st. they sell boards, shoes, clothing, skating parts, etc. staff is helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. their prices are alrite, and they are friendly enough to let you demo some things. their location is not the best, but it's not in a bad neighberhood either. their hours are funny, so make sure you call before you go. more

I went to this place to buy skating equipment for a trip. I was impressed that this small store had a wide selection to choose from. The prices are not that cheap, but there was a lot of variety. They also had other sports equipment. The cashier was nice and patient when I was buying my stuff. more
