Six Stars Appliance Service

I wish I had read the previous review before I agreed to have them come out to repair my Maytag Washer. I called American Home Shield (my warranty co), it too Five Star Two days to call me. They were two hours late for the initial appointment and of course "had to order a part" which took another week to come in. The part arrived on Thursday but did not call to let me know it had arrived, I had to call them. They of course could not schedule an appointment until Monday afternoon between 3 and 5. I make arrangements to be there at 3 and they had the nerve to call at 5 to tell me they were running about 1.5 hrs behind...he showed up with the part at 7:15 and by 7:25 determined he needed to order another part! I am 2.5 weeks without a washing machine and who knows when they will manage to get it fixed. more

First American Home Warranty dispatched Five Star to repair our Bosch washer. They were prompt in calling to set up the initial visit. Polite guy shows up, fixes the problem or so we thought. Shortly after leaving, the machine does the same thing. Call them back & told they have to order a part. A week goes by, no call... 10 days go by, no call. No one answers their phone and if they do, Maria is a little abrupted and is hurrying you off the line. Long story short, 3 weeks goes by, part finally is delivered, nice repair guy comes out, installs and leaves. 10 minutes later machine does the same thing. Call office, told that repair guy will come back after his last appointment. That was Friday 8/6!! No calls from them since. Have read other reviews about the same thing happening to other customer. Would not recommend doing business with 5 star if you plan on using your appliances within a month of them breaking down. IVL Appliance Repair came out yesterday and fixed the problem in 15 minutes AND they've called to check on the status. more
