From the moment I reached their dispatch operator ( who was so patient with me, awesome and just about talked me off a cliff!) to the moment they walked out the door, they were WONDERFUL!! I repeat...SILVERSTATE IS WONDERFUL!! \r Jay was our tech, and after looking and listening to our machine for maybe 5-10 minutes, he had the problem diagnosed. Jay told me it was one of 2 problems, and said if the 1st thing he fixed didnt fix it, the 2nd one would. The 1st thing he said fixed it. A problem so simple, and yet not a single one of the many other techs from the other companies' got it right. \r Jay was competent, professional ( unlike the other place's string of bumbling morons) and courteous. It was obvious right from the start he knew what he was talking about...what a breath of fresh air..no pun intended :). He was also very patient with me ( I was practically sitting on top of him,) showing me everything he was doing, etc...\r \r It has now been a few months since Jay fixed our machine, and it has truly never worked better. Hearing that ice drop is music to our ears, and every time I open the lid and see our machine packed full of ice, I say a silent thank you to the ice machine gods for sending us Jay! \r To Jay: We can't say thank you enough. Silver State came out today to fix a problem with my heater. On time, professional and the heat is blowing out hot! I can't say enough good things about Nick, the tech who came out and did the repair. He is professional, explains the problem and fixes it quickly. Silver State is the best HVAC service provider in Las Vegas. I highly recommend them. more

Sometimes the service a technician DOESN'T do is as important as the one they do.\r \r Amber was kind enough to inform me before her visit that my broken air conditioner unit was very likely covered under my home warranty. She could easily have raked me over the coals and made $600 easy for a service call, but instead sent me to my home warranty provider before even seeing the problem.\r \r Thanks! more

I was really impressed with Silverstate Refrigeration & HVAC. They were very good. I had used them once before a couple years back to service my system. But this time, they installed brand new units for me.\r I was very concerned in the beginning, as anyone might be when facing the thought of spending that amount of money, but they ended up doing a fabulous job. Their pricing, though a lot, was very competitive when compared to other companies.\r But 2 or 3 days before they were scheduled to do my installation, I saw their truck down the street at a neighbor's house, so I figured everything would be okay.\r Overall, I was really happy with the entire process. They were prompt and hard-working. After they were all done, and the unit was installed, I had a question. I called them and they came out immediately to handle the problem. It turned out to be a programming issue and they were able to fix it quickly.\r Any fear I had going into this project was defused. I will continue to call on them in the future and would recommend them to anyone. more

Silverstate Refrigeration & HVAC was the first company I found in the phone book. I decided to go ahead and use them, because I needed help. My AC had stopped working, and because my wife is ill and needs the house kept at 75 degrees at all times, it was a medical emergency. Some people have told me that I paid too much and that I trust too easily, but I truly feel like I found a good company. It was a bit pricey, but it was worth it to me because they solved the issue. They came in, and were hard-working and professional. They got the job done in 5 hours and I was happy to have them do it. I will definitely call on them again. more

There were a few glitches along the way, but overall the work was professional and on schedule. Now I have a regular air conditioner and an evaporative cooler. If one fails in the middle of a hot day, I now have an alternative. Since I am on a variable rate schedule with the power company, I can choose the lower-cost option when electricity is most expensive. Further, I chose a 120 volt unit, so I can run the evaporative cooler from a portable generator if the power fails. The best time to get this type of work done is in the fall and winter. more

Great service. It's so difficult to trust A/C and Heater services in this town. Every one seems to want to replace your whole system or otherwise replace very expensive parts for what are seemingly very simple fixes. Len told me what the issue is (simple part), found the part, gave me the price and my heater is back to normal for less than $100. Very pleased on this cold night. :) more

Yep, there's a reason why they have a 5 Star rating! Scott with Silver State HVAC came by, correctly diagnosed the problem that another company never did even when we were under warranty, and fixed the problem! Consider us a client for the rest of our time in Vegas, if you want something done efficiently and correctly, call Silver State HVAC! 5 Stars! more

Nick is an excellent tech, polite, knowledgeable and does great work. This is the only HVAC company in Vegas I will use, and I have used a lot of them in the past. None hold a candle to Silver State. more
