Excellent - My friends are going there now! I went in for my bikini and the results were so amazing that I am now doing my underarms, upper lip and brow. It is so nice not to have to shave anymore (or wax my lip and brow). \r \r The process works best on dark hair and light skin so once my summer tan fades I am going back to have my legs done. I have had friends find other places via groupon that were not successful. They are now going to Norma and her staff who are great. I cannot recommend them enough as the price is right, the atmosphere is clean, the employees are always timely and professional, and all my questions have been consistently answered. Try SilkySkin - you wont regret it! more

I came in on a groupon (like most reviewers) and I'm now addicted!\r I had laser hair removal on my bikini and underarms 10 years ago and it never really ""took"" and was very painful.\r I've did a small area to start and was so pleased with my results after just one treatment, that I've now decided to redo my underarms, bikini, knees, lower legs and feet. After JUST ONE TREATMENT there was seriously, like no hair there!\r Angela has been doing most of my treatments and is fabulous and I've worked with Norma as well who is great!\r I'm VERY pleased with my results and I'm now thinking of doing my arms. I'm loving that I don't have to keep tweezers in my car ""just in case"".\r I've had no problem at all with my appointments and always get a reminder call.\r I would recommend you expect a little wait in getting in for your first appointment as they book up fast, so plan ahead when you book. more

I had a wonderful first visit at Silky Skin. I bought a groupon for a six session brazilian laser hair removal. Because they were so busy they opened up weekends and got me in on a Sunday. I sat down with Angela and the appointment was discussed in length on what to expect before we begun. She told me with my pale skin and dark coarse hair I should have the very best results. The actual lasering took about ten minutes. A little painful but nothing compared to a brazilian wax. It was ten days later to the day that I started shedding. I was amazed at the results after only one treatment. I'm very excited to continue my treatment, but also add additional treatments. I would highly recommend Silky Skin to my friends and family and have done so already. more

So disappointed! There was a dispute over my last appointment. My contact at Silky Skin told she would check with her manager to see if it could be resolved the way I was asking for. It's been several months, and I've never heard back. Not following through on customer service is one of my biggest pet peeves. more

Excellent Service - Excellent Results! 9/1/2011

i am thrilled with the results of Norma's work....and only after 2 sessions! Anyone that has a problem and visible area of unwanted hair knows what difficulties it can create. You KNOW people are looking at you, noticing that hair, possibly judging you - at least that is how I felt. Life changing may seem like a strong word, but I feel changed in my confidence and in what I feel able to do now that Norma has waved her ""magic wand"" at me. Norma is so lovely and very caring. I felt comfortable with her and I knew she understood!! more

Excellent results! 4/11/2011

I'm estatic about finding Norma at SilkySkin Laser Centers in Clackamas. I am a light skinned, light hair female who has had 2 sessions now and was floored at the results after just one session! I had the bikini area done and lost approximately 75 percent of the hair in the treated area after the first session! So then I decided to add lower legs and underarms to my program and can't wait to see the results after this last visit. And Norma is the best! She is so patient and flexible with her clients. She's very skilled so sessions are quick with very little discomfort. Besides being an extremely nice person and very easy to talk to. I have been recommending her to all my friends. In addition, I'm a grad student and prices are the lowest in town making it affordable for my VERY tight budget. more

Very Pleased! 3/28/2011

As a male who has some major unwanted hair issues, I feel so lucky to have found Norma at SilkySkin! For many years I have worn a clean cut beard, but I always have issues with ingrown hair where I do shave. Norma did laser work on the front and back of my neck and the results have been phenomenal. After the first few sessions the hair started to go away and thin out with no more ingrown hair issues. I just had my 3rd session and we noticed a substantial loss in the unwanted hair. I'm excited for it all to be gone after my 6th session. I'm especially happy that I don't have to get the jungle on the back of my neck shaved when I get haircuts now! If you are looking to have hair removal done, I cannot speak any more highly of Norma and her services. She is very gentle and an enjoyable to be around during the appointments. I am more than amazed at how well the laser hair removal process through silkyskin laser center has worked for me! In only three treatments, I have seen a tremendous lack of continued hair growth the areas I have had treated. Moreover, Norma is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable through what may be an otherwise awkward experience for some. more

SUPERB results and service!!! 6/22/2010

During a routine visit with Dr. Allen he asked if I had any sun spots... Being that I am an avid tanner, I had several on my stomach that were rather dark in color and about the size of a small mole. Certainly noticeable... and I was definitely interested in at least making them lighter. But when Dr. Allen told me that he could make the sun spots on my stomach completely disappear I was doubtful. Even though I had great results with the hair removal he had done previously, I was skeptical that they could ever be completely gone but believed that they would at least be lighter! After only one session they were lighter and within a couple weeks they were completely gone. Not only did Dr. Allen work his magic on my sunspots but the entire easy of the experience was so comfortable that I completely forgot I had ever had them to begin with... I am really looking forward to the possibilities of what I can have done next! Thanks to Dr. Allen and his remarkable staff!!! Pros: Great results and cost effective... Get hair removed fast 4/27/2010

I bought a 6 session package for my lower arms at another location ... after 6 sessions I still had lots of hair on my arms. After hearing about SilkySkin from a friend, I went for a free consultation and met with Norma who ex planed how there laser is top of the line and uses the newest technology. After my 1st session I saw a remarkable difference in the amount of hair that was removed ... to the point that I quit shaving. I would highly recommend SilkySkin to any one who wants to get rid of the hair ... I'm going to do my bikini next ... getting ready for the beach. Pros: painless .. it really works more

Great service 4/18/2010

I have had problems with stubborn ingrown hairs on my neck and this really did the trick. The little amount of pain (which is apparently reduced dramatically for women the attendant told me)is totally worth not having to shave. I've had 3 appointments so far and there are already virtually no hairs growing. I would highly recommend this laser center. Pros: No pain, great pricing, great experience more

AWESOME results 4/17/2010

As a man I absolutely detest back hair. I decided to go to Silky Skin and have hair removal on my back. Once there I decided to do my chest and neck and tummy as well. The cost was 1/2 what I had found previously from other facilities when I looked into it. I have been to 3 of my 5 sessions now and am simply thrilled with the results. Yes, some of my tummy was more sensitive than my back or chest but for the most part it only feels like you're being slightly popped with a rubber band. I experienced no burning at all and the post procedure redness is normal and gone within a few hours. The follow up care from Norma as great. She really is a professional all the way. If you're considering laser hair removal you WON'T be sorry for making the decision to go there. Pros: Low cost, immediate results, professionalism Cons: There can be modest pain assocaited but it's not unbearable more

It was worth it! 4/9/2010

I have been very ?self conscious? of the veins I have on the back of my legs. I hated to wear shorts in the summer because of these veins so I wanted to try to get them removed I have tired creams but they have never worked. Pros: Fast results Cons: Little painful but the pain went away in seconds more
