Good food, great prices 8/31/2010

The best salsas in town! The food is always good here. Since they opened their drive thru ""Si Senor Express"" across the street - diagonally - we've eaten there more often. Their plates are really decently priced. You get alot for what you pay for. For instance, their Rio Grande plate comes with Chile Relleno, Tamale, Enchilada, Taco, Chile con carne (red or green), refried beans, rice, all four salsas, chips, and sopapilla, currently below $11. Unless you are the jolly green giant... that's alot of food. 50% of the time, my spouse and I will split one. The other 50% of the time, we have left overs. The breakfast at Si Senor Express is excellent as well, with three eggs, bacon, potatoes (usually hash or diced), beans, salsa, and a fresh dinner roll or tortilla. more

BEWARE OF METAL IN YOUR FOOD! 3/6/2010

Food is okay. Service from waiting staff is nice. BUT THERE WAS METAL IN OUR FOOD. How does metal get in your chimichanga? Seriously? We really would like to know how it got in there. My friend bit into her food and pulled out what looked like a thread made of metal. We quickly showed the waiter who took it and her plate. The waiter was amazing, she was fast and very understanding. Then the manager, Pepe came out. He was the rudest man I've ever dealt with. He refused to do anything but take off a minor percent of her meals price. Worst part? He took out the 18% gratuity tip for the waitress (We had a large party of 9 people). He wasn't taking it out of the restaurants pocket, but hers. She did nothing wrong! We were all shocked and upset by this point. We simply wanted her meal to be taken off the bill, we didn't ask for anything else. He refused and we told him we wouldn't be coming back. He said 'Good.' This upset me, and I asked for a corporate number or his boss. He said he had none. We had to ask the girl at the front for his name, (Pepe) and I couldn't believe it. We will never be back. If you decide to go, bring a metal detector. Pros: Nice Waitress Cons: Metal in food, the manager Pepe more

Not worth going to!!!!!!!!! 4/18/2009

A friend and I went there to try them once again. It had been several years since the last time. To say the least we were not impressed at all. The service was very slow. The food, when it got to us, was ice cold. I don't know about anyone else but cold mexican food does not appeal to me. I also found it to be very pricey. For what I spent there I could have gotten twice as much food anywhere else. The only good thing about the place was the chips and salsas. We will not go back again. Pros: good salsas Cons: everything else more

Great food, fun place 1/19/2004

Si Senor seems like it must be on the short list of most of the locals for SW/Mex food. Even when I've been there late on weeknights, even in bad weather, and the place was nearly packed. The reason has to be the food. So it's not presented all nice and fancy, who cares! The staff, busy as they are, will tag-team your table, making sure you never run out of anything. Kooky names for the platos don't detract from the quality of the food. The red chile con carne with pork is absolute heaven. Pros: reasonable price, great food Cons: busy more
