The worst experience at a veterinary office I have ever encountered in my entire life. Do not go there. Rude staff, waited an hour, secretary demanded that I buy one of her cat carriers, yelled at my children. NEVER AGAIN!! more

Shore Vets is the best vet all around. I just moved down here from NY and was looking for a vet. They have everything I need for my little poodle Fifi. Grooming and Boarding and a vet hospital. The girls were so nice and even gave me a tour. The place smelled nice and was clean. They have late evening hours too. more

Shore Veterinarians has been my veterinarian for years and they provide the best care possible for my pets. I have lived in several states and had several veterinary offices over the years as I moved and have never experienced such wonderful and caring veterinarians and staff. They do so much for our community with their adoption center. I truly admire their dedication to helping find homes for homeless animals from various shelters. That was one of the things that impressed me most about them. They truly love and care about animals. I will always be a devoted client. more

I have been going to Shore Vets in EHT for a few years now thankfully for routine care. But last weekend my JRT Pauly got out of the house and was clipped by a passing car. I was so upset and called Shore Vets immediately, they answered the phone and told me to come right over. When I got there a technician rushed out to get Pauly and took him for immediate care while the receptionist was so nice and talked to me calming me down until the doctor came in. Pauly has a splint on his leg and some cuts and scrapes, but thankfully will be ok with some healing time. Everyone I dealt with there has always been nice and helpful, but I didn't realize how great they were until I saw them in action with my dog. I don't know what I would have done or where I would have gone at 6:30 pm on a Saturday. The doctor was so nice and took time to show me the xrays and they called me a few days later to check up on Pauly. I have had nothing but good experiences there. Great vets. more

I was previously going to Shore Vets in Egg Harbor Twp, but after a misdiagnosis, medication given in the wrong dosage and a vet tech that manhandled and got really loud with my upset cat, and another vet tech that just didn't care that the meds she sent home were wrong, and a vet that never heard of a premium cat food that my sick cat was on, and their high cost, I just couldn't take it anymore and finally switched vets. Shore Vets did send back a refund check for the unused meds and an apology on paper, but by then I had already switched vets. And BOY I AM GLAD I did! I decided to go to Absecon Vet Hospital and was lucky enough to have my pets seen by Dr Grossman. Dr Grossman and his Vet Tech were fantastic with my pets. My upset cat previously had to wear a muzzle at the other vet (even when she was a kitten) - but the Vet Tech and Dr Grossman handled my cat with so much compassion, she didn't try to bite them much, and she didn't need a muzzle (even when they took blood) - Dr Grossman diagnosed my cat and sent me home with meds that my cat actually will take (and she wasn't eating before) - I know for a fact my sick cat and my other cats are in good hands here. Dr Grossman also took his time to educate me on why my cats do what they do. He also called me at home to give me the results of the blood test the very next day. In the past, I have always had to hunt down previous vets at other locations to get results. I also expected a big bill since I brought in all my cats at once, but the bill wasn't high at all. Dr Grossman is just like the other writer said, he reminds you of the vet in the books,"" All Creatures Great and Small"" ( about a vet in England who really cared and knew what he was doing). He is a great vet & my cat is finally getting the medical help she needs. I wouldn't go anywhere else now more

I have been going to shore vets since 2004, and how that came to be was by an emergency my dog molly was having trouble breathing I called my vet they weren't open tried a couple of more no one would see me i wasn't a client 3 offices told me to got to philly to the university of penn then my last call was to shore vets they told me to come right over ,when i got there one of the girls seen how she was breathing and asked me if she could take her right back and she did there was around 5 other people in waiting room to me it was like at the hospital for people actually I think it was better. I was asked all my info then one of the girls put me in a room she treated me like she had known me for years she told me dr. would be in after she was done looking at molly,the dr. came in asked me questions and also told me molly was breathing better she told me what she wanted to do and she was going to send in a tech with an estimate to show me prices within 5 minutes a tech came in she went over everything with me and explained everything so that I understood I don't know medical stuff and she talked to me like she had known me for years also ,all the results of the bloodwork and xrays were available within 20 minutes which was great I found out it was her heart and the dr. came in explained what was going on with molly and she wanted to keep her for a couple of days I was only there for a little less then an hour and i felt comfortable with leaving my baby girl there ,the tech came in with another estimate and she told me about having someone stay overnight with her it was extra because they close at 8 pm but someone would come in to stay with her to me it was worth it they told me the dr. would call later on in the day with updates to let me know how she was doing and i could visit the next day which was a sunday because they were open!!!!!!!!! My dog was 13 at the time and because of shore vets I had her for another 3 1/2 years any time I had a question about molly because i continue to go there they would always call me back the same day and when she would have any issues from her heart problems I would get in the same day I called at my other vet I always had to wait a day or 2 to get in for other things. I know as long as I have animals I will always go to shore vets staff there is great and they treat your animals as if they were there own . I checked with other places about the prices just to see if there prices were any different and they weren't and even if they were higher I would pay because the place is a great place and my mom always told me you get what you pay for and in this case you get so much more. I have only been going to Shore Veterinarians Egg Harbor Twp office for a few years but in the few years I have used their services for my pet's needs I have had nothing but good experiences and care. My pet was very ill and they gave me many options for an appropriate course of action. Overnight care, oxygen services as well as xray and ultrasound, bloodwork, it was all done quickly and carefully to determine what exactly my pet required to get better. My pet is healthy and happy today and well worth every penny spent to keep a member of my family alive and well. Thank you Shore Vets North for all you do! more

I have been a client of Shore Veterinarians for over 20 years and I feel that I have received the best care I could possibly receive for my animals. With overnight care (yes they actually have staff members stay overnight when needed and necessary) onsite xray, ultrasound and lab equipment, I have received better care for my animals than I have for myself at local hospitals. The staff has always been kind and caring and helpful with all my pet care needs. I feel that you get what you pay for and I feel that the cost is well worth the care for a member of my family. I highly recommend them, and all my pets are happy to see them everytime we visit them. more

I have been going to Shore Vets in Egg Harbor Twp. for 11 years. They are exceptional!! The doctors and staff there do more then what there job entitles them to do!! They are compassionate as well as proffesional. The care they provided for me and my dog Bowser is wonderful!! Not only do I love them, my dog enjoys seeing ""his girls""!! more

The office in Seville did neglect care of my pet. They sent him home when he needed emg. care. I rushed him to the emg. hospital in linwood and he died in my husband's arms on the way. The animal was the more

i am a former employee of shore vets and i can honestly say the way the operate is sickening. i have seen them be physically aggressive with animals and hate how they take your pet out of the room to preform services. they have someone employed there caring for the kenneled animals that is a convicted felon and drug addict. they are aware of this too. they are very over-priced and i would never bring my pets there again. more

The entire staff at this office is EXTREMELY rude, and it wasn't just one time! I have spent nearly THOUSANDS for my very sick puppy, and when I went to get an estimate for her umbilical hernia and her spay, I was given a quote that said was guaranteed for 60 days. I then found out that because I am disabled and receive SSI, I qualified for the state program in which the state pays for her spay, and I only had to pay $10 out of pocket for it. Well, when I came back with the paperwork, suddenly the price for her umbilical hernia surgery sky rocketed to TWICE the quoted amount. When I asked why, I was told by the MANAGER in a very VERY rude and condescending tone that they had to ""adjust to what was adequate."" She then INSULTED me and asked me if I thought surgery was as easy and simple as getting a haircut? Made no sense to me either. I just wanted to know why the sudden price increase and was never given an answer, but rather was insulted by the manager herself. This was NOT the only time either. They also not only charge for a simple microchip, but an extra $30 for ""placing"" the microchip, making the price $70+. Who does that? If the price and attitude doesn't discourage you, their lack of pet care should as well. When I inquire about better food, I was simply told by the VET herself that most people don't have time to provide all the proper nutrition for a pet, and she handed me a bag of IAMS puppy food instead....(Do a search of IAMS to find out the true quality, or lack of of IAMs.) There are so many choices of Vets out there, stay away from this one. more

SHORE VETS ALMOST LET MY DOG DIE under their care due to negligent care & poor testing & diagnostic practices. After running a battery of expensive & unnecessary tests (& repeating them due to problems on their end processing them & of course charging us again!), I decided my dog needed to be in more capable hands & rushed him to University Of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital & Wow...what a difference!!! Not only did I find an emergency room with one vet for every animal there 24-7 (Shore Vets has no one on staff during nighttime hours in their emergency care!!! I would rather have my dog with me than alone in a crate in a strange place with no medical care!), but I also found it was half the price for the best care in the country (literally...just google it)! So, if you truly care about your dog & your dog is in an emergency situation, Please avoid Shore Vets! I am not one to complain or write reviews at all, but this was truly unbelievably atrocious and had I followed their recommendations to put my dog in their unattended overnight emergency care & waited another 12 hours until they had a vet come in to look at her, the vets at Penn said he would 100% have been dead. So, PLEASE AVOID SHORE VETS!!! Pros: Clean Cons: Negligent care, outrageous prices more
