Found a great doctor here! 9/2/2010

After being referred by my Kaiser primary care doctor to this place for anxiety / depression issues, I had no idea where this place was and did a search for ""Sherman Terrace Kaiser"" and came across this page. I emailed her back to say, ""This place has horrible reviews! Is there anywhere else I can go for ""mental health services"" within Kaiser that, A. Would be closer to either my workplace or home, and B. Some place that has SOME positive feedback?!"" The answer was, essentially, ""no"". Kaiser has an astonishing lack of locations to go to for anything mental health related, and that's a problem. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by my two trips thus far to the Sherman Way offices in Reseda. I was REALLY skeptical and nervous, but I met with a really great psychiatrist today who was warm and neither coddling nor judgmental. I felt very comfortable with her from the start. I know everyone has different experiences - I have met with my fair share of strange to downright questionable psychiatrists. There are definitely a few bad doctors out there, for sure. I happened to find a good one today, Dr. Feinfeld. I just wanted to write a review (which I never do) because I had a really positive experience here, and left feeling a lot better and more hopeful than I did a few days ago. I realize there's a hugely vast range of mental/emotional issues we all seek help for. But as someone dealing with (not severe) depression and anxiety disorder, I had a pretty good experience. more

TERRIBLE! 12/7/2009

Hideous! Stay far away if you need actually help. First, they make it impossible for you to see a Dr.--then, they punish you for not coming in sooner to see a Dr.! Dr.'s have no empathy and can actually be quite mean! Please pay out of pocket before you even begin to navigate this useless system they call a ""HealthCare"" facility. By the time you make it out of this Kaiser, you will have spent a fortune anyways!! more

Worst Place Ever! 8/16/2007

And I'll tell you why..If you have a serious psychosis or chronic depression or anything that is brain related Kaiser is horrible! Their therapy is ""goal oriented"" and don't talk to you specifically about your problems. The psychiatrist try and give you minimal doses of medicines even if you say how severe it is! And o top of that it's hard to contact your doctor, talk to anymore,or make an apoointment! I hate kaiser don't go there if you truly have an honest mental problem! more
